Lack of Aloha

We purposely chose this unit for its 2 bedrooms (with loft) and air conditioning throughout (which we need for health reasons). On our 1st morning, I was surprised to find that the 2nd bedroom floor was covered in water. The A/C unit in the room was leaking water. I took the time to mop up the "flood" and notified the Parrish Collection, who are the property managers. We had a nine night stay and the A/C was never repaired. This unit is on the top floor, directly in the sun, so without the use of A/C, the room was too warm to sleep in. Also.... the ceiling fans were coated in thick dust. The coating of dust was so thick that it actually curled around the fans and was visible on the bottom of the fans facing the floor. The dust from the fans gave us respiratory issues, so we could not use them. So..... to summarize..... 1. We paid for 3 rooms and could only use 2. 2. Parrish never repaired the A/C unit. 3. The fans were unusable. We thought that some kind of small partial refund was justifiable, in the spirit of Aloha, but our request was denied. I would heartily suggest that you stay away from this property, or any property overseen by the Parrish Collection. -Chuck W.

Best View In Kauai!

This resort is hard to beat! We’ve stayed at a lot of places on Kauai but always come back to Hanalei Bay Resort. The condo was perfect as was the scenery. A piece of heaven. Very easy to book and was always kept informed about anything!

Beautiful view

The view from the lanai and the set up of the unit was awesome. However the resort fee seemed high considering the swim up bar was closed the whole time we were there and the tiki bar was only open a couple of days. There was a 45 minute wait to just have a drink at the bar. I understand there are staffing shortages but then the resort fee should be adjusted accordingly. We were also missing 3 bath towels and the resort refused to provide more since this is a privately owned unit. It took almost 24 hours and 3 requests to get enough towels for our family.

Family Vacation

The condo met our expectations. We had a spectacular view from the lanai. It was so nice that we had a washer and dryer in our unit and the kitchen was well stocked. We had a little one with us so the only suggestion would be to have a pack and play available for guests, but overall this was a very lovely condo on the resort. Would book again with no hesitation.

Outstanding Island Accommodations

This property is fantastic! You have all the amenities and advantages of both a resort and condominium all wrapped up in one. The unit is spacious and well-equipped with spectacular views! We loved the beach that is accessible via the trail. This unit is a bit far from parking, but the resort does offer shuttle services that made it much easier to transport luggage and such.

Stunning views, great location!

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for two families of four. The furnishings were great, the beds really comfy! The view was spectacular! The loft worked out well for our teenagers. I am a tennis nut, and was thrilled there were so many courts, and could choose to play on grass or hard. The Hanalei Bay Resort was great. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you!!

The views from the deck are amazing! We spend may hours relaxing on the deck. The unit itself is very well kept up and nicely appointed. It was great that they had beach chair, cooler, and snorkel gear for use. The pool and hot tub are amazing!

Fantastic home base!

You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer place with a more lovely view than this one! The six of us loved our lanais, beds, and unobstructed views. And we appreciated the snorkel gear, the coolers and the washer/dryer. Just a great place to call"home" for a week!

Amazing property.

We had a great time here. The pool area alone makes this place special. We usually spend very little time at the pool when in Hawaii because we love the ocean so much.While here we spent two whole days at the pool! The condo was very comfortable with great beds and an amazing view. The only little criticism I have was that i had to re wash some of the things in the kitchen. There was lipstick on some of the wine glasses and the coffee carafe was dirty. So I just initially washed things before I used them. Not a huge deal and it was probably that the last visitor didn't do it properly and the cleaning service just assumed if it was put away it was clean. The bathrooms and every other part of the home was spotless. I would absolutely stay here again!

Classic Hawaiian grandeur!

Beautifully appointed, breath-taking views and million - dollar sunsets await you at this villa. It worked perfectly for us and our young adult sons, but please know the two queen beds are located in an open loft above the living room with no bathroom and reached by a beautiful spiraling staircase! Not suitable for everybody , but we loved it.

Stunning views, lots of beach gear

This was a wonderful condo. The view alone would sell me on returning, but the little extras really seal the deal. We so appreciated the beach gear that was generously made available. The kitchen had everything you need. Nice washer and dryer. The Hanalei Bay Resprt property is very pleasant with a nice pool, bar, and access to a great beach. You cannot beat the magic of these views.

Very Spacious and Comfy

It was a perfect home away from home. Each couple had their own California-King bed and area. Each bedroom had a balcony, in addition to the main space having a balcony with a view of Hanalei Bay. I will definitely be looking at staying here again. It was well stocked with plenty of glasses (isn't that the first thing you run out of?), plates, coffee filters, etc. I found nothing wrong with the stay - and I'm picky!
