This charming corner unit at Sealodge sits atop the cliffs on the North Shore of Kauai. A gangway leads you from the parking lot level to the unit's 2nd floor which overlooks a protected canyon greenbelt. Relax with a Mai Tai on the lanai above the tree line enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean while you’re serenaded by a symphony of tropical birds in the plumeria, banana, and coconut trees below. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of an albatross gliding on the gentle trade winds or whales spouting below in the shallows.

This one bedroom unit his been completely updated from its original 70’s decor. Extra care has been taken with the smallest details. The owners want you to feel as ‘at home’ here on Kauai as they do when they visit from California. The unit boasts a tropical theme, accented by richly upholstered rattan furniture, hardwood deck, and views from every window.

The kitchen includes appliances including a radiant cook-top, washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. The comfortable queen size bed in an elegantly decorated bedroom will be a welcome sight after a day of exhilarating outdoor activities. The living room affords great style and comfort including a retractable screen door to allow the trades winds to gently lull you to slumber. Sit back and enjoy a DVD rented from the local supermarket in Princeville or channel surf the flat-screen TV. There are also beach chairs and beach towels provided for each guest.

This complex with its meticulously maintained grounds is perfect for those who want privacy, peace, and quiet from the typical tourist traps, but with all the amenities of civilization nearby. Take advantage of the shared, saltwater pool for a gentler swimming experience. Fine dining, golf, snorkeling, surfing, botanical gardens, shopping, and all the rest of Kauai's best are just minutes away. It is perfect for the romantic in all of us. Whether you are newly wed, renewing your commitment, or simply in need of a well-deserved respite, your hosts are sure you will return year after year.

Please be advised, the trail to Sealodge Beach is steep and challenging. The trail gets muddy and slippery and can become dangerous. We recommend swimming at lifeguarded beaches.

Lovely apartment

This is a very clean, lovely apartment in a great location. The only thing I did not like about the apartment is that the bathroom doors are like closet doors. The door is not solid, so there’s not much privacy. Other than that, it was a great apartment.

You have to check in a get the key in Lihue,then drive 45 minutes to the condo. It's a beautiful setting and the furnishings,etc appeared brand new.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is clean, comfortable, and sweet. We enjoyed walking the trail to get to Sealodge beach, a beautiful cove with calm waters and great snorkeling. The location is picturesque and beautiful and it was a quick drive to Ha'ena and Hanalei. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

One of our best stay

I'm glad I booked this unit instead of the other two with better ocean view in the same subdivision. This one has tree line view in a valley right out of the balcony and mountain view afar with waterfalls. Also, the buildings are well designed along the cliff, feels like every step is the scenery. Although the location is a bit far from majority Scenic spots which are mostly located on southwest part of the island, still conveniently close to grocery shopping, farm markets, beaches, etc. Another unforgettable stay in our journey.

Faultless service

Very comfortable and well appointed. Lots of small touches which added to the convenience of the apartment. Air-con would have been good but we knew this was not included. Staff were superlatively helpful when we locked ourselves out of the apartment on one occasion, and when we left a wallet in the apartment on departure !!) - the wallet was promptly posted back to us. Great location - quiet and great sunset views. Thoroughly recommended.

Good condo not the greatest internet

We enjoyed our stay and the condo is as described. The only thing I want to point out for other guests is that the Internet has very limited bandwidth. If you have a need for good Internet I suggest contacting Kauai Vacation Rentals and they can help you find a place that meets your needs.

Get away home away.

A lovely and comfortable home in a quiet spot above the ocean. We enjoyed walking, listening to the birds (those darn roosters, too), and sitting on the bench watching the sea and whales.

Princeville Perfection

Comfortable, cute and well-equipped condo with a sunset view (over the mountains) and a distant view of the ocean. Nice sitting area by the living room window to look out at the ocean or watch the egrets hanging out in the green belt below. The unit felt more spacious than its square footage might indicate. The unit has beach chairs, a cooler and two (rather small) beach towels, and a couple DVDs, games and books. The rental managers kindly left a cloth cooler with snacks and water in the fridge for us to keep - a nice touch! Only cons: hot water in the shower runs out pretty fast, and noise is fairly audible from upstairs condo. We have been to Kauai many times but this was our first staying at Sealodge and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing views of the ocean and a big waterfall in the distance. The unit could have been cleaned better and the dishwasher was not working.
