Check-in was very easy, and the location was perfectâjust a short 5â10 minute drive to Grace Bay Beach, Long Bay, and grocery stores. The house was much larger than expected, with a great open-concept kitchen and living area. Even without AC in the common spaces, the breeze from open windows kept it comfortable. Essentials like soaps and detergents were thoughtfully stocked, and the included cleaning service every other day was a nice bonus.
That said, there were definite downsides. The kitchen was dated and not very cleanâgreasy cabinet surfaces, a grimy sink, thick dust on top of the fridge, and chipped or stained dishes made us avoid cooking entirely. The laundry machines were rusted and stained some of our white clothes, so we didnât use them after that. The small pool had chipped concrete on the bottom, which made it uncomfortable and potentially unsafe.
The biggest issue was the lack of sleep: no blinds in the bedrooms meant they were fully lit by 6 a.m., the beds were hard and squeaky, and the pillows were flat. This home has a lot of potential, but with better cleanliness and major upgrades to sleeping arrangements, it could be a fantastic stay. As it is now, unfortunately, I wouldnât recommend it.
