Staff was awesome and responsive. Probably the best part. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was there was a ants nest in the shower. Also the water was medium hot. Didn’t get super hot but it’s a hostel. The location is great and activities plenty

They really need to deal with the kitchen. Small fridge for the amount of guests, food goes bad because the fridge won't stay closed and one night there were bugs in it, the drying rack is gross constantly and they need two sinks. They do have fresh water which is great but it's a very inefficient system they have for dispensing it. Still, very good place especially for the price. Would recommend

This is my go to hotel. Staff is always amazing, everything was clean, location couldn’t be better. Internet was stable and it was quiet. It’s really a gem when considering a place to stay.

I stay at Casa Pepe often and it never fails. Staff is always great even when many guests are checking in. Well organized. My room was super quiet and internet was fast. If you want a quality stay with great service this is the place to stay.

Casa Pepe is the best hotel to stay if you’re looking for great service by staff, perfect location, excellent price and a chill vibe. The hotel is spotless and has international guests that makes me feel right at home. Plenty of restaurants around and on weekends a great number of vendors if your looking for local crafts and much more.

Of all the things I could say about Casa Pepe, it would be the staff that stands out consistently. They make check in seamless and they take care of your needs while you stay here. The building itself, which was built in the 1700 hundreds has an amazing vibe. As soon as you walk in you feel a quiet aura and tranquility. You hear multiple languages being spoken, which gives Casa a true international feel and it’s not just young people, but people of all ages. The common areas provide an opportunity for guests to chat about their travel experiences and future plans. You also have solo space, which is welcome. Casa Pepe is the best place to stay in Puebla, as it is a low key, extremely well run hostel/hotel, a no stress zone that lets you chill out and serves as your base to explore Puebla.

Need to update the AC units, mine was not working. There was no hot water one day and this is the second trip that happens. Noisy drunken employees on June 27th of 2025. Excuse from management is that they were celebrating a birthday. They keep their noise until 1:30 AM and I decided to weat my earphones to listen to relaxation music rather than telling them again to be quiet after I did at 11 PM. FYI my birthday was the 28th and I didn’t make any noises for the other guests, totally unacceptable.

On June 27th the staff decided to celebrate someone’s birthday at night. They their cahuamas (1 liter beer bottles out and pizzas. Like any drunk people they were noise as hell. I went down to the lobby where they were having their party at 11:30 PM. The ladies understood and left the 3 gentleman that stayed kept drinking and making noise until 1:30 am, rather than make a scandal I wore my headsets and proceeded to hear relaxation music so I could sleep. If silence and peace are in your priority list, it may ne a good idea to explore other options around the area. I have stayed there since 2015 and will be looking for options as this place has been going down hill since then. The AC was not working, water was cold one day, staff justified the noise, because it was an “employee” birthday. Mine was on the 28th and I didn’t make that type of noise let alone in a hotel at those hours. Totally disappointed

Excellent hostel. Perfect location within walking distance of food and sights. Staff was great and made you feel welcomed. Dorm room was clean and comfortable . My only complaint was little hot water and weak wifi in the room.
