Huehuecalli is a place for relaxation and family gatherings, ideal for comfortably accommodating nine people in three separate bedrooms.
The house features a solar-heated pool, a palapa with a barbecue grill, a court for frontón, badminton, and basketball, a two-car garage, and a spacious garden.
Huehuecalli is located in a residential area of country homes, so we ask that you be considerate of the neighbors after 11 p.m.
You can go for walks or bike rides, or visit nearby areas by car. Morelos is an hour away, while Los Ahuehuetes, Tochimilco, and Metepec (where you can catch your own trout) are all just twenty minutes away. For cycling enthusiasts, we highly recommend the “Popobike” route.
Please check the location carefully—it is not within the city of Atlixco itself but is part of the municipality; it takes a 10- to 15-minute drive to reach downtown Atlixco.
The house is in the countryside. Although we spray for pests, there may be insects typical of the countryside, such as ants, flies, cicadas, and some spiders (humans are not part of their diet). We suggest keeping the bedroom doors closed to keep flies out and prevent them from bothering you at night.
You may also see squirrels wandering through the garden and climbing trees, as well as very large, beautifully colored lizards.
In the mornings, you can enjoy the birdsong.
