My room was off the pool area, and for a good part of the evening there was a lot of noise going on. The room itself was fine, with a very comfortable bed. I would stay here again.

Best hotel in Canyon City

We did not stay where we originally booked because the hotel was filthy. We drove around looking at 3 other hotels and they were just as bad, if not worse. Thankfully we came upon Quality Inn and this is where we stayed. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel lobby was clean, the rooms were renovated and very clean. We were extremely comfortable the two nights we stayed. Than you!

The staff were great! The furniture damaged. The sliding door locks were broken, as well as the screen. The mattresses were lumpy. Too close to the noisey highway. I had to go buy earplugs. We were very disappointed that the pool was shut down. That is the main reason I chose this place. This motel doesn't even compare to the website pictures. Misleading! I took pictures of room 118, just in case they try to charge me for damages. Would only recommend this place to truckers.

My guess is that this hotel was closed for years and then reopened by the current owners. The room was drab and dirty. The first floor room with a sliding glass door wouldn't close so it couldn't be locked. I thought, "Is it even legal to rent a room can't be secured?" The pool was closed and probably has been for years. The dining area and adjoining "greenhouse" space are run down and sad looking. I wish these new owners all the best of luck.

Poor condition

Breakfast was totally unappetizing. Burnt eggs on a warmer in plastic bag. Bathroom had paint flaking off wall into shower, paint splattered all over shower. Huge gap in door jam. AC unit constantly rattles.

Check in was easy. Their claim to fame is that famous Western movie stars stayed there so they have signs on the doors. Otherwise, the property is falling apart. Our sheets were stained, but they did change our room immediately. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation, paint, new furniture, new shower, etc. The bed was super hard. The guests staying there were terrible, slamming doors, drunk and yelling outside and in the halls.

Room 121

This hotel was on of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The lobby smelled like years worth of stale cigarette smoke. The hallway to the room was disgustingly dirty and also smelled terrible. After opening the door to my room, I had to purchase a can of Febreze to mask to odor. The carpet in the room was either stained or filthy or both. We killed two different species of insects crawling on the floor. At some point the maintenance crew attempted to spot paint over mold in the bathroom. Because of the disgusting conditions of the entire building, eating the breakfast was not an option. Unfortunately Cañon City doesn’t have many options to choose from, or I would have taken the loss and stayed somewhere else. Don’t bother sending with your generic response. Shame on the management for allowing this building to become this bad.

It was the worst experience I have ever encountered. The room had a most horrible smell. It looked like homeless people were sitting around the entry doors. It was soooo bad, we left and went to another hotel. The room was so small you could barely turn around in it and the bathroom was the same. The hallway had an unrecognizable oder that permeated down the entire hall. The hotel was not safe with individuals just wandering around the property. A toothbrush and other personal items were near the sidewalk, as was other litter items. It was a terrible experience having to leave and pay for another hotel room.
