I can’t say enough about how incredible Mike and his family and staff are. They treated us like family from day one. The grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately there is construction next door that echoes into the rooms throughout the night and day. Possibly adding a fan to drown out the noise would make it better. You are well located to everything in Puerto. The cookware is unusable because the teflon is scratched beyond usability and the spatulas are scratched plastic. Paying that much for a fully furnished room could have better cookware, floor mats, hand towels. We had a tough start and it could use upgrades, but do not let this discourage you from staying here. I felt like family from day one. Archangel Micheal is the gentlest and most caring host I have ever encountered. Seriously, he is an angel and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable and it will eventually grow on you and you will cry when you leave.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was big and well equipped. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not bad by any means. The property is a bit older but the value for money was great. The property dog Oreo was a sweetheart! Would stay here again for sure.

It is a place where you feel at home the owners and staff are very friendly and nice the hotel has huge apartments and two terraces that overlook the zicatela beach and is walkable to a street where restaurants bars are there to.enjoy . The outdoor area can be better organized and maintained but this hotel was a big highlight for me during my stay in Puerto Escondido I highly recommemd 👍

Great location with a beautiful outdoor courtyard and a great view from the rooftop terrace. The host took great care of us. We had booked 4 nights and ended up staying 3 more. I loved my week and would definitely stay there again.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Tabachin. The place didn’t feel like a hotel it felt more like a studio. The views were amazing! The location is so convenient with the beach and many restaurants being a few steps away. Blanca, the innkeeper, was so pleasant and accommodating. We definitely felt like we were at home. We highly recommend the place, you won’t regret your stay.

Location is great. My husband and I loved the authenticity of the hotel. Its located just off the main road to provide a little privacy and quiet. There is a nice little kitchen and they also provide drinking water!!! Would definitely stay there again.

This is a unique property just a scootch off the beaten track. Each of the two structures has a rooftop deck with nice views. They are building a huge hotel right next to Tabuchin, so the the days of the current ambiance are numbered. The new monstrosity won't open for another year or so, so enjoy Tabuchin while it lasts.
