My family and I had a great experience at the Grand Residences, the place, and people were great very professional and pleasant. The only bad thing was the limited transportation since you need a taxi to go out the hotel to puerto Morales that is less than 5 minutes away., but great hotel overall

We were looking for an all inclusive that did not feel like it was “mass produced”. The attention to detail and food and cleanliness was excellent. The staff are amazing (shout out to Gustavo (concierge), Carlos and Emilio (indoor wait staff) and Kevin (outdoor waitstaff). If you are looking for big, loud with lots of night life - this is not for you …. But we were looking for a peaceful week away and had plenty of options if we were interested in getting out of our pool chairs. Highly recommend.

The customer service and hospitality was top-notch! Our conceriege, Liza, was extremely helpful - made our dinner reservations and reminded us daily. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire resort and the peaceful laidback atmosphere. Just a quick 5-7 min taxi ride to the Puerto Morelos town square where you can walk among the shops, enjoy ice cream, and do some souvenir shopping.

We stayed for a week with a small group to celebrate a 40 birthday. We travelled with a toddler and a baby. Our toddler had an amazing time. The rooms were very comfortable and large. We had a master suite and junior suite for our group. Both rooms were really spacious and pretty soundproof. The cleaning staff did an amazing job cleaning the rooms and turndown service would do a second evening clean which was super helpful with kids. Breakfast and lunch onsite do not require reservations but dinner required reservations daily. There were only two restaurants to choose from for dinner and the two onsite restaurants just changed their menus daily and there would be two of the following BBQ, French, Italian, international and Mexican. The third onsite restaurant was open by the pool on the beach area for lunch. The resort is very small but perfect for families with small kids. There isn’t much to do except visit the pool, beach or eat. The onsite beach area is pretty small and there was a lot of sea moss but the truck was continuously going back and forth cleaning it. There is a nicer beach not far from the resort that didn’t have the seamoss. We took a trip into the town one day and visited Crococun zoo which the kids really enjoyed. The town has many nice restaurants and we visited Taninos Restaurant that was about a 10 minute cab ride for about $10. I would definitely bring bug spray if going into the town. Mosquitos were biting us nonstop.

This trip was fantastic. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The food was really good, too—lots of variety and fresh options every day. Even with some sargassum in the water, we still had a great time and enjoyed the beach and pools. I would return to this resort again. It was one of the best vacations we’ve had!

The staff at Grand Residences looked after us from start to finish. It was so nice to have transportation arranged to and from the hotel, in lovely black SUVs. The room had a large crib for my toddler, with an adorable baby shark and baby blanket inside. The highlight, though, was our food experience. My little one has several food allergies, and they kindly prepared his food on a separate grill. One day I forgot to tell the waiter about his allergies, but Abel at Heaven Grill remembered us from the day before and told his coworker. I appreciate the team for making this trip an easy, stress free getaway.

Great amenities for most part. They should stick to Mexican food because pizza was awful and other Italian style dishes weren’t great either but the other foods they made were good. Room service was pretty slow but property was beautiful and relaxing and staff was helpful, kind. Appreciated the extra little things done for us as we were celebrating our anniversary.

Front desk is terrible. Information provided before travel was not the same information that was provided at the front desk. My cousin phoned before my travel to inquire if I can bring her credit card to use for the deposit and customer service said No, she was advised by the customer service to just use cash. My cousin ask how much and the customer service said $400 US dollars. So before my travel my cousin bought US dollars. Check in time, the front desk said they dont accept US dollars. And she dis not accept the US dollars she reiterated not accepting the US dollars. If I donr have my Philippine bank card then I dont know if was able to check in.
