WELCOME TO CASITA DE PAZ
A cozy and charming 2-bedroom beachfront retreat in Las Conchas, Puerto Peñasco. With stunning ocean views and a peaceful setting, it's perfect for a quiet seaside escape or a beautiful, budget-friendly destination wedding.

BEDROOMS AND LAYOUT
The home comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. The master bedroom includes a queen bed and private bath. The second bedroom offers twin beds, making it ideal for families or friends traveling together.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig coffee maker (please bring your own K-cups), blender, toaster, microwave, and all the essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez from the spacious front deck, furnished with patio seating and a gas barbecue. The home also features 2 gas grills, an outdoor shower, beachfront access, and a large patio perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

Great Peaceful Beach House

The name of the house says it all, "Casita de Paz". We are a family of 4 with two teenagers and we all enjoyed our stay. Great beach house with great beach view and very peaceful area for who wants to relax. The private entrance to the beach is a plus. Stores and restaurants are within 5-minutes away.

Beautiful

We had a truly lovely stay, just what we were looking for— a quiet place by the ocean to recharge and enjoy nature. The casita sits behind a main house but there’s direct access to the beach and ocean views from the porch. The beach is very clean and the birds and dolphins offer a true spectacle. Staff was kind and responsive. The house was clean and the kitchen had what we needed to cook simple meals. Would certainly come back!

Great weekend gateway

Hey, we really loved the property! It was a cute little casita with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was just a short walk to the beach, and our guest house was on the side of the main house. We were right on the front row, and we loved the inner yard with palm trees and some cute landscaping. The whole property has a fence, which was important for us because we had our two dogs with us and we felt safe letting them go outside. There was also a nice outdoor shower. I suggested to the management company that they should upgrade the utensils and cups, and place a few floor mats outside of the house and maybe inside too, so it would be easier to clean up the sand we tracked in from the beach. We loved the property and the management company. Edwin was really helpful. We're planning to come back again soon!

Grea beach access and views

Lovely big patio w coffe table and chairs. Views from every room. Quiet and clean. Nice bedding and comfortable beds. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking, be aware there is not much counterspace. The outdoor shower is really nice. Air conditioner and ceiling fans were great. We seem to have some flies bothering us most of the time. This particular spot of Beach is fairly rocky and I did break my little toe. I would definitely recommend bringing a sturdy pair of old sneakers or in the very least some water shoes. Probably too difficult for little ones to swim out past the breakers. Ana came by and gave my mom a really nice massage. There is a little quickie mart within walking distance to get the essentials. Our neighbors were also renting from Oceaneo And we’re very sad because security came and made them take down their shade. They had set up on the beach : / That seems kind of strange. Nice place but I wouldn’t come back just because I prefer less rocks as I have little ones.

Relaxing

Beautiful porch area with a nice view. The loungers for sunbathing were nice & sturdy. Small store near by and very private area to spend our evenings. The bedroom curtains were a light beige so at night there was light that came in so the staff showed up the next morning a added darker curtains which helped us sleep. Perfect location for small gathering/event. We also liked that the house was in the entrance of Las Conchas and easy access to restaurants and short drive to Malecon.

Peaceful & Relaxing Beach Front Casita

My partner and I had a very relaxing stay at Chuck’s property, Casita de Paz. We had coffee every morning on the patio watching the waves roll in – it was truly peace inducing, we could feel our blood pressure lowering. The casita was clean and stocked with the essentials – bath & beach towels, extra pillows, toiletries and wifi. The casita is charming and cozy if a bit dated. A few updates would be nice but aren’t crucial. We had an issue with the screen door, we spoke with Chuck and he contacted Oceano to send someone out. Maintenance tried to fix it but it really just needs a new one. A big plus is the property is pet friendly, we brought our 2 pups and they loved walks on the beach. The location can’t be beat - within the La Conchas neighborhood, just 50ft from the beach, walking distance to a Six convenience store and a short drive to more restaurants & shops. The cost to stay is very reasonable, we actually added an extra day to our stay. Chuck was very nice and handled the screen door issue straight away. Oceano, the property managers, were responsive regarding the screen door. However, when we arrived to check-in at 4p they had us wait a Âœ hour as they did not have the casita ready for us to check-in. Though not a hardship, it was troublesome as we had driven 4 hours and had 2 pups with us that just needed to get out and get settled. Overall – I would recommend Chuck’s Casita – it’s charming, in a great location and Chuck, the owner, is friendly & pleasant

For our review, we must provide both our positive experiences with the Casita de Paz rented from Vrbo, as well as a few thoughts on the property itself and one unbelievably terrible experience. Positive: The property was genuinely nice. We were comfortable and it had everything that we had hoped for in a two-bedroom two-bath home. We had a slight problem with the air conditioner, however, when we called the Oceano office, they sent a technician immediately and it was resolved. The highlight of this property is clearly the deck, which is wonderful with an awesome view. It has an outside shower, a private path to the beach, and good deck furniture. The proximity to town is also an advantage. There is a small convenience store within walking distance, as well as a casual restaurant/bar. Perhaps most important for some renters is that the cost of this property is very reasonable. Suggestions: The property is a bit dated (for some people, this may be part of the charm, however, freshening up would be wise). The drapes are tattered, and the main window only has two panels (instead of three), which only covered part of the main window. This means you do have a lack of privacy. Terrible experience: My phone was stolen from the Casita deck area on May 14, 2024, sometime before 6:23 P.M. With my wife’s “find my phone software,” we tracked my phone to a home seven homes away. Las Conchas’ security was unable to help us gain access, as the owners were not present. Security told us th

Beach house

The casita was perfect for our weekend in our favorite Mexico beach town. It was just my husband and myself but we could have brought our son and been comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't receive check-in instructions and arrived late. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU HEAD DOWN. Once the rental office closes there is no one on site to help you. We ended up checking into a hotel at 2am after 3 hours of trying to get into the rental. Once we worked out that problem the property was lovely and we had a nice stay.

Awesome Location & View

Such a lovely casita. If I could have only taken off half a star I would have for 4.5 stars, and only because the cold water handle in the master shower was stripped so we couldn't use it, and the master mattress left us with pretty sore backs. Otherwise this was a terrific spot to visit with our two teenagers and our pup. We could even see dolphins swimming by right from the patio! It is also really close to the Malecón, and the port for whale watching.(EcoFun Adventures). Quiet neighborhood. Very easy checkin and checkout, Océano folks were very helpful. We had a great weekend!

Some late check in information would have been nice to have, but we found the envelope taped to the office window. There was an outside sewage smell which lingered pretty strongly one night. Coincidentally, we had a sewage issue in another VBRO the previous weekend.
