Exceeded expectations
We really enjoyed our stay. Walking in the door the first time it smelled clean, and it absolutely was in every respect. The beds, floor, bathrooms, kitchen, refrigerator - all really clean.
Everything was in working order (which some reviews of other properties in the area seemed to indicate could be a problem). The kitchen cookware was well stocked and everything was in good condition.
Moving on to the property, we ate once in the restaurant on-site, it was ok, the bar service at the pool was really slow. And bring your own chairs to the pool, they were all claimed by 730am. The little kitchen at the bar by the pool was actually quite good for street style tacos.
Speaking of the pool, itâs actually 2 pools separated by the sunken pool bar, and one side was heated (nice, as the other side was pretty chilly). Again, we hear that some other properties on the beach donât heat their pools. There were also two hot tubs, one for family and one for adults, which reasonably well policed⊠as was the entire propertyâŠ. If people, didnât have bracelets for the property they were asked to leave.
Moving on to the beach⊠it was a really nice beach, jet ski and rides where you could get towed behind a boat on a floating raft were available right below the hotel. Jet skis were available right there and were in good shape. Access to the beach was a little challenging, but it appeared they were actively working on improving that. It was a climb up a soft sand hill to the deck. That soft sand will give you a workout.
Overall we were really pleased and would visit this unit again.
