There for a week - found the food "boring" - as in, the menu was limited & alwasy the same. 1 snack bar open all day - served only burgers/hot dogs/nachos/fries & fruit every day - no variety at all. The buffet was also pretty much the same every day. There was another snack bar that was only open 6pm on (sign said formal dress, but it appears not). We had 2 x penthouses - loved the jetted tubs, but rooms were very dark (not much in the way of lights/lamps). Also, amenities between the penthouses differed. 1 had 4 chairs on the deck, the other none. Limited mugs/glasses in one, safe didn't work in one. Housekeeping service varied between the 2 rooms, one was barely touched, the other well-serviced. Room service seemed good, but dishes were still outside part way through the next day. Check-in/check-out was wonderfully quick & efficient. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Hay 4 restaurantes los cuales solo uno puedes entrar siempre los otros 3 piden reservacion a partir de las 9;00am intentamos todos los dias hacer reservacion y desde las 9;00am ya decia que estava lleno, por la tarde verificabamos y siempre habia mesas disponibles pero como no teniamos reservacion no podiamos entrar. Muy mala experiencia en cuanto a los restaurantes.

This is a wonderful resort. The child’s area is exceptional and the Kids Club is so welcoming. Our little one loved it. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed this resort.

Not for moms** babies clean luggage was left open and cleaning lady’s rag was inside luggage. Babies clothes smelled like sewage they offered to wash them but who knows what was cleaned had to throw brand new clothes away. Chief concierge said he would get back to us but there was no follow of situation; not happy not be coming back and don’t recommend. Food was good and drinks, cleanliness not great out of 4 days only one they cleaned and this happened.

Do not stay here!!! This has been by all the worst hotel I’ve stepped foot into. I literally checked in because it looks decent but the moment I walked in the room, it was ridiculous. Hallways were very dark to get to the room, the lock on the door was so unsafe and big cracks, walls were dirty, restrooms moldy, showers dark and dirty, if I could attach pictures omg. I had to leave that property, i literally checked in and out within 10 mins and booked the Hilton riviera- beautiful !! . Also, staff was very rude ! No one was welcoming. The pictures on Expedia need to be removed.

Hi, We check out this morning with my family. We stayed 4 nights. We picked this resort because it’s close to airport and it’s kid friendly. This resort is geared to children and families. Their children activities are a great and the night time entertainment is awesome. However the room are dirty. If you don’t let the hotel staff to clean the room they will not be clean. Our room had bed bugs on the mattress and the sink did not Work. The food is ok. It’s not great. The system for the restaurant reservation suck. We could never get a reservation and they are every limited although the restaurant look empty every night. The pool Is clean once in the morning and that is all we saw. We spend about 4 to 6 hours at the pool area and never saw any staff checking the water. The pool Water is cold and looks a little gross. Areas around the pool are not clean either. Drinks are water downed for sure.The hotel has a weird smell in the buffet area. Sometimes the staff in the morning was rude when you ask for more coffee in the buffet area. The tables are lightly cleaned after each guest. I think they need think they need to be clean and sanitized after each used but they do not do that. Next time I would spend a little more money and get a better hotel. I would definitely not be returning to this hotel. I would not recommend it.

We arrived to the Hotel at 5pm; not able to make a reservation for dining and were forced to eat at the buffet and the food was not fresh and dry. In our suite the TV did not work even when we reported it or the refrigerator did not cool at all. We’re told to use QR code for services to order room service through a TV that did not work. Tried calling room service no answer. WiFi was ok. This is considered a five star hotel and should be a two star. We paid so much money to then have to compete for reservations. Toilet was clogged thankfully we called and they answered. The maintenance guy unplugged it but left a mess!! Snack bars are for children (hotdogs,pizza, hamburgers, fries) the other snack bar out of service. The hotel map was confusing. Not enough time slots, we were only given one option!!

We will never stay here again! The food is awful, limited selection and bland. It is impossible to get reservations to the restaurants! The staff were a mixed bag. Some being very kind and helpful others rude and not willing to help. The drinks are all made with artificial flavor making them taste sickly sweet. There's racoons running all over the resort. Our last day there the power went out for 3 hours. Which means the only elevator wasn't working so we had to carry all our luggage down. The property is outdated. The location is great it's close to everything. Don't waste your money and book elsewhere!

They gave us the wrong room from what we booked- but the bellhop said the one we got had a better view so we kept it instead of having to wait in line again. Definitely a locals vibe, we never really felt truly ‘welcomed’ except for a few employees who actually would say hello and smile. The food at the buffet was not great, and it was impossible to get reservations for the other restaurants which was very disappointing. The kid pool area was fun, but the constant blasting kids music was a little much for us the parents to sit there all day- The free nightly show is across the street which wasn’t ideal, but still fun for the kiddos. However the other pool by the beach was very nice- and the cleanliness of the rooms was good. If we go back to PV, we definitely won’t stay here again- but we still had fun regardless, vacation in the sunshine is fun no matter what.

The staff were very good and our room was clean and comfortable. The food in the buffet was average but we could always find something good to eat. The omelet station was quite good in the morning. It was difficult/impossible to get reservations at the specialty restaurants. We did manage to get one night at the Italian restaurant and it was very good. We could not get into the other two or back at the Italian one. The beach area was very nice with lots of loungers and shady areas. There were lots of young children at the resort and plenty of activities for them. There were quite a few beach vendors but they were polite and moved on quickly. We saw whales breaching every day while we were there. The entertainment at the nightclub venue varied from good to average and was primarily aimed at children. We had children in our group of 10 and they mostly enjoyed it. We walked a short distance to catch buses to go downtown several times. The buses are frequent and for 10 pesos each way, a good way to travel. Checkout is at noon from your room but we could keep our bracelets and towel cards so we could continue to enjoy the resort until plane time later in the afternoon. Overall, it was a good experience. A room issue with one part of our group was addressed by staff and they were relocated when another room became available. The resort was clean, comfortable and several rooms were being renovated while were there.
