A Luxury Beachside Villa in Sunny Puglia

Overlooking a beautiful cove and sparkling turquoise waters, this 6-bed, 5-bath villa in the lively and popular resort of Marina di Pulsano offers a large and luxurious retreat only a few steps from the calm crystal clear and turquoise sea.

Relatively undiscovered by other Europeans, the Salento area in the south of Puglia (the southernmost part of Italy's heel), is where the Italians choose to holiday. Located on the western coast of Salento in the south of Puglia, its Ionian coast is much calmer and sandier than the better known Adriatic coastline on the eastern coast. Apart from its own natural coastal beauty, the area of Pulsano is at the heart of Primitivo wine country and provides the perfect base to explore the region’s coastline of Caribbean-style white beaches, pretty bays and coves, fabulous food and wine at amazing prices and stunning baroque architecture a little further afield.

The villa itself is great for large or two families, with lots of living space inside and out. Newly refurbished with architect designed interiors, there is sleeping for up to 12 in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms (4 ensuite). There is a well-equipped kitchen, dining area with access to the terrace and living room all with sea views immediately outside. Outdoors, you can soak up the sun and share meals on one of three terraces, or cool off around the hot tub.

Who would need a swimming pool (even if one was allowed so close to the seaside) when you can step barefoot out of the house straight onto sandy beaches with crystal clear shallow waters lapping your feet. Ideal for toddlers learning to swim or sitting with your baby in the cooling seas, you can also launch your own kayaks from a little shallow slipway by the house and more able swimmers can swim through the waters going from totally clear to turquiose to deep blue beautifully refreshing waters.

Daily conveniences are also only a few steps away including, a bakery, cafe, bars and convenience store. In the mornings, you can grab fresh coffee, croissants and pastries just across the road.

Something for all the family with toddlers able to learn to swim, choice of games and kayaks for the kids, teenagers enjoying the lively resort during July and August, top up your tan from March-October, enjoy the delicious and wholesome food and wine for great value, enjoy the historic towns in the area and enjoy peace and tranquility September - June.

Step out of your villa straight onto the beach where you can paddle, snorkel, swim or kayak in the glittering clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea. The villa overlooks a sheltered rocky cove with large stretches of sand to sprawl out and relax.
Newly refurbished, the property itself features 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping for 12, making it ideal for those seeking a spacious retreat right beside the sea.

Ground Floor
On the ground floor, a bright living room offers a comfy chill-out space to relax after hitting the beach. Fold back the windows for all the sights and sounds of the sea and there’s a flat-screen TV/DVD for movie nights, while a log-burning fireplace keeps things feeling snug during cooler winter nights. In the rare cooler days there is a real fire to relax with.
A well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to whip up hearty group meals, while a large dining area with seating for twelve offers a relaxing spot for long and lazy Mediterranean lunches. You can of course lounge and dine outside on one of the three terraces. There is also a bbq.
The ground floor also has a shared bathroom off the spacious corridor, along with three separate bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed and is ensuite with disabled bathroom facilities, the second bedroom comes with two twin beds, while the third bedroom doubles as a kids room and features a double sofa bed and flat-screen TV and x box.
A hot tub, bbq and shower await you as you step off the beach.
First Floor
On the first floor, you’ll find three more bedrooms - each with the added luxury of their own ensuite bathroom.
In the fourth bedroom, there’s a king size bed and flat-screen TV, while doors lead out to a sea facing large terrace. A fifth bedroom is furnished with two 2 twin beds, while the sixth bedroom features another king bed along with a very large bathroom and offers access to a private balcony.
Outdoor Area
There’s plenty of outdoor space to unwind, dine, and socialise in the villa's secluded and private grounds. From the dining and living area, step out to a sun-drenched terrace with a garden table. In the mornings, it’s a fabulous spot to sip coffee and tuck into leisurely breakfasts.
On the first floor, you can relax on a large terrace and uninterrupted sea views. And on the third floor, another terrace the size of the house has recliners and seating - it's a great place for sunbathing with shady spots available too in privacy.
The villa also has its own jacuzzi, so you can enjoy a cold or hot dip after sunbathing and in the evening. Spend the day at the beach, ideal for young children with the extremely shallow and calm lagoons and only a short stroll back to the villa for a drink and freshen up in your outdoor shower.
Beach equipment available including kayaks, snorkelling gear, beach games and outdoor table tennis.
In the evenings, gather outdoors for drinks and alfresco dining. Dig into plates of olives, sun-dried tomatoes and freshly grilled seafood. Later, uncork a bottle of wine, sit beneath the stars, and relax with the sound of crashing waves as your evening soundtrack.

***** "Fantastic!" Dear Steve and Cathy, As we stayed with 2 parents and 8 kids from 12 to 20 years old, it was quite a challenge to find an accommodation that could satisfy all longings. Your house absolutely hit all topics. There is more than enough space in and around the house. Having the sea, shops and bars all within very short walking distance and still have privacy nothing could meet everyone’s desire more. The house is well equipped and feels comfortable in any way. Also having the Italian families as close neighbours gave us the feeling to be part of the “real Italian holiday-life”, which was very nice. Antonio has been a perfect host.

***** "Lovely vacation get away" We stayed at this villa in October. It was lovely and located right on the beach. The house was clean and felt very safe. We were a group of 7 women and we never felt uncomfortable or crowded. We would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.
