The property is dirty and run down. Needs to be updated. Our room had leaks from the ceiling and caused flooding in the room. The teen club and teen gym were closed. There were no activities for kids older then 5. Teens weren’t allowed in the regular gym. The buffets were dirty. The dishes were never fully clean. You waiting 25 minutes for a glass of water. The staff was rude and would roll their eyes anytime you asked for anything. I would never return or recommend this resort to anyone

No me gustó que realizara dos solicitudes: una para un problema con la TV (el técnico fue a la habitación y vio que el problema era el control, se lo llevó y no volvió a traerlo). El segundo problema era con el lavamanos, que solo tiraba agua caliente y no me lo resolvieron. Y también, por problemas de salud, se manchó una sábana con heces fecales, pero nunca la cambiaron y me seguían poniendo la misma sábana. Pero me gustó que algunos empleados dieron un servicio excepcional.

Overall Experience I recently stayed at this hotel for four days and had a mixed experience. While there were some positives, several issues detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable stay. What I Loved The hotel's family-friendly atmosphere was definitely a highlight. It's clear they cater well to guests traveling with children, which made our stay more comfortable and stress-free. Areas for Improvement Language Barrier: One significant challenge was the limited number of English-speaking staff members. This made communication difficult at times and affected our ability to get assistance when needed. Room Quality: The rooms were fairly average - nothing particularly impressive but adequate for our needs. They met basic expectations without any standout features. Maintenance Issues: Upon arrival, we discovered the TV remote wasn't working. Despite requesting a replacement, we never received one throughout our entire four-day stay. This kind of unresolved maintenance issue was frustrating and easily preventable. Dining Reservations: The restaurant reservation system was inconvenient. You cannot book dinner reservations in advance - instead, you must secure your spot immediately upon arrival at the hotel. This creates unnecessary stress and limits dining flexibility. Final Thoughts While the family-friendly environment was appreciated, the hotel needs to address several operational issues. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO HERE!! At check in Yohanna n Disney immediately insisted that the room I paid for wasn't available and they didn't even look, told me they could add a rollaway but nothing else could be done. When we got to the room it smelled like mold. The sofa was severely stained the bathroom not clean and the lamps had black mold on it. My son went to wash his hands and burned his hand. The water would not get cold it was scalding no matter what we did. I told them that the room was unacceptable. They advised someone could come and clean it. When housekeeping arrived she was as appalled as we were. She called front desk and told them the room was uninhabitable. They gave her a room number for us to check. Someone was in that room.I was so upset I broke down. The maid was the saving grace of my trip. She apologized and brought us to another room which was the room type I initially asked for. It was clean but the water problem was still there. My husband found a solution to leave it on cold and barely move it over so we could shower. The food was hit or miss some better than others. The drinks were severely sweet no matter what you ordered. The hotel needs renovations. The pools were dirty. Our party of 13 with three other rooms one of them had to be fumigated. They wouldn't move her or put her in the same building with us. Juan the manager of bellhops and the maid supervisor and the concierge and floor staff were Amazing. They were courteous and helpful.

This property and all inclusive vacation was terrible. The pictures are not accurate. It was much more run down than expected, the buffets were limited and one day mangos were available and the next day they weren't. Food wasn't coded properly - ex it said carrots but it was zucchini. We were in a near fatal accident with my 3 children on an excursion with Amstar in association with the hotel and no one even asked us if we were ok. The driver of the snorkeling excursion fell asleep at the wheel and went into oncoming traffic and into the brush. My three kids were terrified, and no one even asked if we were OK. It was traumatic. We arrived at the beach with a 3 foot mountain of seaweed, brown ocean water and a terrible stench. It was so bad we only got two beach days. The mini bar barely had anything in it. I would prefer going back to Cuba and will never go back to the DR or a Bahia Principe again.
