We love excellence in punta cana. However, because the hotel was being renovated the buffet was only open for breakfast and the dining options were sub par. Many of the dining places left you feeling less than satisfied. The only restaurant i enjoyed was Spice and becausee you had to reserve i was only able to eat there once at 9:45! Besides that hotel was clean, setvice was great - staff is very attentive. Room was immaculate. Bed was comfortable pillows not so much. Pool was clean. Beach was wonderful.

Excellence Punta Cana is a very relaxing place to get away from the city life. The resort is so clean. All the staff you see are very approachable and all smile to everyone they see. They have numerous food choices at the buffet. The restaurants were good. Personal favorite is Agave which is a mexican restaurant. We ate at Magna and ordered the tomahawk steak. It was salty for me but otherwise it was good. The Aroma Cafe is everyone's favorite. The room is clean and they make sure you have all the stuff you need. There is always a show at night for entertainment. Lots of activities to do for us. It is a safe place to stay in. I would definitely come back to this resort. It was an excellent experience for us..

There was a leak that kept dripping on my face right over the bed from the air vent. Had to put tissues in the vent to trap the drips. Extremely slippery surface by the pool and I fell. They did offer me a room upgrade my next visit, I declined.

I absolutely loved my stay at Excellence Punta Cana! The resort has a beautiful, spacious layout with everything from the beach to the dining areas designed for comfort and relaxation. The service was excellent—truly above and beyond what I’m used to, whether I was lounging by the beach or enjoying dinner. The atmosphere had more of a grown and sophisticated vibe, and during my visit, the crowd leaned a bit older, which made for a calm and relaxing experience. The food options were great, and I especially enjoyed the coffee shop that also served ice cream. I highly recommend joining the Excellence Club—it’s worth it for the exclusive restaurant access and top-shelf alcohol. Overall, this resort delivers on quality, service, and atmosphere. I would definitely return!
