Just finished my visit at fantasia and I have to say, I would give this a 1 out of 5 stars. This resort looks run down. So here is my break down below. 1 day arrive sat the hotel room, sheets were stained had to get new sheets. Mosquitos were everywhere in the room. When to the buffet and it was all disgusting. No flavor nor nothing, deserts look like but has no flavor whatsoever so ever. We slept on a rock hard bed. Day 2- went down and had breakfast, same thing as dinner, bland and tasteless. Only good thing was overcooked omelette, bacon, juices and fruit. We went and complained about the room and they moved us to another room, in the new room, the toilet leaked when flushing. Pool areas were nice and my kiddo loved playing on the slides but pool side bars for food were plain and boring. Lunch dinner was at Paridiso, get the lobster pasta, prob the best thing we had as pasta was fresh. We went to the front bar there and the drinks were good. Wehad requested more towels and extrpillow three tiems before i had to blow up the manager and compla again. Day 3- breakfast at circus was better than buffet. Went to the pool and had pool side bar pizza, no bueno. Went went o have hamachi at mako, it was ok, better than buffet. Good luck getting there, no staff speaks English and impossible to get them to understand. Day 4- did the same thing as day before, but by this time we were ready to leave. With the lack of edible food, La gormet was not good, avoid it.

The kids club was amazing they did many activities and celebrated my son’s birthday in very special way. The property is safe and clean staff very friendly. The pool was great and the beach is easy to access with shuttles that available all the time.

Rooms were clean, and property was quite large - but communication and service were average at best (buffet service specifically - it was a challenge to get water/coffee refills - and really any attention from waitstaff after having been seated). Thankfully, I speak enough Spanish to get by - and I would never expect English to be spoken in a Spanish-speaking country - but I was just surprised at the lack of English-speaking employees in a place that is visited by so many English-speaking tourists. We stayed near the castle, as we traveled with kids, but it was a bit dated - and I preferred the pools at others parts of Fantasia. Also, navigating around the resort was extremely challenging, especially with the ongoing construction. I am a believer that every vacation is what you make of it, and we did enjoy our week away, but I probably would not stay here again.

The room was very nice and the cleanliness was excellent in the room. However, the dining room was not very clean, a couple of people witness a roach by the dessert section. Also, the food was cold most of the time and very salty. The beach was very un appealing due to the large amount of algae. Why is there a charge for a no-show at the restaurants? We were not warned and came back late from a trip and thus missed our reservation. That was a turned off, We will not be choosing that hotel anymore. Also, the beach restaurant is so sad and the worst compared to the rest in the same area. They should offer fruits and salads instead of the grease options. The photographs reservations were only available to 5 pm. They should offer later times as long as the sun is still out.

The rooms badly needs updating. Plus the rooms are not being cleaned properly. The shower walls were quite filthy, bathroom sinks dirty, musty smell in room and other locations on property. The beach and pools at beach needs some work. We were not able to use the beach as there were piles of sea weeds at the front of the water, right on the sand. So no one was able to get into the water. The food was OK, pool close to the rooms was also good.

As a single mother of a blended family that has various ages this resort offers a variety of different experiences. The place is safe, affordable, and the staff was both professional and polite. We would definitely return!

The property is great for kids , my 3 year old daughter loved it . Unfortunately the staff is not the friendliest and the rooms need some updating . Having visited many other all inclusive resorts this one had the worst service , with a few exceptions the staff was mostly rude and not friendly . I really wanted to love this resort but due to the staff I’m not sure i will . The resort does have many great features that are great for small kids .

I was laying on the seat in front of the pool when a worker came up and asked what drink I wanted. I said lemonade, but she never came back with it. I wasn’t even waiting for the drink, it was just something she asked when I arrived. I ended up staying for an hour and a half… still no lemonade. the lamp in the room was also broken, and when i tried to replug it in, the wires were sticky. I also asked for more conditioner for my hair, but room service never showed up. At the restaurant, the food took an hour to arrive.

Well, our experience at the Hotel was terrific,marvelous.That was ours first time in 5 star hotel and,it was very nice. The whole staff were very polite. Buffet and,restaurants were excellent. French restaurant there was a guy Francisco very professional like David in the Italian restaurant. At the pool there was a new boy. His name was John, who did very important job selling excursions. We were very happy with his job. Also,the ladies who clean the room were very polite and,hard working girls.Good work for Joanna,she works in the rooms next to water park 99.... She was working even with her daughter sick. Thanks to all the staff.We loved the experience.

The property was nice and clean. While the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades, they were clean and cool. The staff was friendly and helpful even though their English was often broken, they still helped us whenever we asked. I love that the property is walkable and everything is in walking distance. The trolleys that take you to the other properties can be a bit confusing, but the staff helped usale our way around. All in all, this was a great vacation and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

I would highly recommend this resorts. We stayed at fantasia property with kids (all inclusive )This resort has all options for all age group. We stayed 5 nights but it was not enough. Pool is everywhere and beach is accessible by walk or tram ( every 5 min). Beach water was not good because of so much sea weed. Other than beach water , everything was great . We enjoyed a lot and my kids had great time. I would recommend for at least one week or more .
