While the property was visually appealing and there were activities for the kids, the food wasn't good. There were limited selections and way too much salt on most items. We were forced to eat only at the buffet due to the inability to get reservations at the restaurants. Which as probably due to the bad food. Was also surprised at the lack of staff around the pool taking drink and food orders. I've stayed at many resorts where this was a normal service. It was quite annoying having to leave the pool area to walk all the way back inside the dining hall for food. The grill option only served pizza or hot dogs. It was pretty but wouldn't return.

We had a few issues with the Fantasia room we initially started with. However, we spoke with our guy Gavilin to discuss our options. He was able to locate us a room in Esmeralda for a small upgrade charge. Once we were situated in our new Esmeralda room, our family vacation was perfect. We enjoyed all of the Esmeralda staff and our spa sessions were incredible.

We were very nervous for our stay after reading and reviews. We are frequent travelers. The rooms are a tad outdated but they are CLEAN!! The maids do a wonderful job. We saw staff members working on the hotel around the clock on updates. The food options at the buffet were good. It was tasty. The kids, loved every second. The staff was so friendly and nice with the children it was amazing. They truly look like they care that the kids have an amazing time. The entertainment as well is great. They had cute shows and lots of things to do during the day. This is the only resort we went to where 2/4 of us received bug bites so definitely take bug spray just in case. We would come back again!

My stay with my family was amazing , from room service and the woman who clean my room , she always create surprises for me and my family. We were welcome like family , I love the fact that there are more workers on the resort that speak English. It was an amazing stay at the resort esp if you are traveling with kids. It had a perfect combination of activities for both adults and kids. The property were upto date with ongoing construction in some area of the resort, but it didnt effect the stay. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. The water park for the kids is perfect. Overall amazing experience with everything.
