The property was absolutely beautiful however, the rooms are outdated and not really all that nice. The staff by far were amazing 11 out of 10. The food in the buffet area was really good but not the restaurants. The food lacked flavor and or atmosphere. The all inclusive drinks are cheap and if you want some mixed drinks staff really don’t know how to make drinks. Out of 10 drinks ordered one was actually good.

We loved everything about Melia caribe resort! Beautiful beach, very nice and clean rooms. Service is perfect! It is sparkly clean everywhere on the resort. Good buffet food and nice restaurants, very good variety of beverages, All stuff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back!

Melia hotel has been by far one of the best hotels we have stayed at. From cleanliness to service to amenities, everything was great. The only thing I would say it needs improvement is the staff at the snack bars, the employee who was by the riviera pool needs to be shown what good customer service is about other than that everything was great

We went 2nd week of June. I highly recommend that. Resort was only at 50% occupancy, so it was a very chill experience. Once you get the lay of the land, the resort is easy to navigate. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds. Tons of wildlife. Clean. Great food. Merkado buffet was our go to for breakfast and the riviera for lunch. The fried calamari at the Italian restaurant, chefs kiss! Bring cash, so you can tip the staff. A little goes a long way. I had a massage and pedicure at the spa. They did a wonderful job. Activities and entertainment were fun. We enjoyed the gym facilities. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was excellent, but there were a few minor issues: the pool closed too early at 7 p.m., and after that, no food or drinks were available at the beach or pool areas. You had to go to the main lobby for food and drinks. Everything else was good.

It was an ok place to stay for your first time. There is really only one pool, no hot tubs. The food is limited without reservations and places close on certain days so it makes it hard if you have a large party and are trying to do excursions.
