We had a wonderful time at the Meliá Punta Cana. It was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The property was gorgeous and well-maintained. The food was great, and the activity options were perfect. All the staff were great, but our concierge Franklin along with Candela and Ana were so helpful and kind. If you’re looking for a restful, rejuvenating, and restorative vacation, this is the place to stay.

Stunning resort! Lots of free activities for those interested-Pilates, aqua yoga, dance classes, bike riding, etc. In addition to the optional paid spa experience. Food was super delish! Buffet has a different theme every night, also 2 other inclusive restaurants on site. Lots of seafood, fresh fruit & veggies, a variety of chicken, beef, fish & pork dishes. There was even goat! Something for every palate. Bed was comfy, room was clean & spacious. Most staff were personable, warm & friendly, especially concierge Jean who went above & beyond to assist with every detail of our stay. Trolley driver Tomas always had a smile & joke for the guests (as the place is so large, trolleys run frequently to move guests around the resort). Front desk staff not so friendly or helpful. The major downside was the non stop barrage of folks on the beach trying to separate you from your money! Relaxing in the swings, beach chairs or outdoor Maui beds was nearly impossible as people would constantly approach selling everything from foot massages to jewelry & hats. But aside from those annoyances, it wa very nice & I would return.

Eventhough beautiful there are many things that could be improved. Spa was perfect. Dinning options with very limited hours. After 11pm there are no options for anything to eat. Alcohol brands VERY limited also, nothing premium included. The VIP acces although has specific access areas in pool it has no other evident benefit.

As soon as we got off the taxi, we felt the tranquil atmosphere, the grounds are beautiful! Food at the breakfast and lunch buffet was good, with plenty of options. We ate at the dinner buffet once and that was good as well, especially enjoyed the sushi rolls they had that night. The Vietnamese restaurant was our favorite, the soup and rolls for appetizers were great, as was the shrimp and shrimp fried rice. Our server Andy provided outstanding service! The Mediterranean restaurant was also good; we loved the appetizer options. We also visited the restaurant at the Level, since we booked with Expedia we were able to go one night, the food was ok, it was our least favorite dinner of the trip but the rooftop bar is a great place to hang out and have drinks with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the chocolate tasting and the foam party. The gym is well equipped. We also did the Aqua gym class at the pool almost every day, fun class! The night club is nice, they play good music and the evening shows were nice as well, especially the Michael Jackson show. Special thanks to Julio who made me a drink I really liked, Cesar and Maribel at the swim up bar for taking such good care of us! Leidy was so friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed meeting her. And last but certainly not least, Maria is amazing! We loved her from the first day we took the Aqua gym class, her energy is contagious, we always stopped to talk to her whenever she was around. Would definitely go back!
