I stayed 4 nights, and I really had a wonderful time. Beautiful hotel, very clean.I loved the wellness activities as yoga, the SPA is amazing, must of the staff are very nice and friendly, specially Teo. I also enjoyed the entertainment program. My room was cozy and clean. My only complaint is that the day that I arrived ( around 4:pm) I didn’t receive any welcome or orientation, only a regular check in, when I was checking out I saw that guests were checking in were receiving nice welcome as gifts and drinks and orientation about the staying at the hotel.

So here to give an HONEST review of Melia. I went with my husband and did lots of research before. This is my experience and yours can be different. We booked a level suite for 4 nights. The room itself was clean and not outdated and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were clean and well kept as well as very quiet (expected). They have several activities throughout the day which is fun and relaxing. We couldn’t get in the beach because there was alot of sargassum along the coast but the resort tried to keep it out with some nets that arent very aesthetic but it is expected to have sargassum along the coast of DR this time of year. Hundreds of vendors along the beach which was annoying this should be a private beach. Also very loud boats nearby like 50. The pools I felt were very dirty and didnt get in either. Full of bugs, dirt, and the floor dirty. The only pool I got in was the one in the spa which is beautiful. With the reservation we were offered a $150 voucher which is a scam because they “give” you $150 in coupons you are limited to use. Drinks were good but food was mediocre compared to other hotels we’ve been. The buffet had a good variety of things and room service was better than restaurants. We arent picky people but know the difference between good and mediocre food. I guess because its an all inclusive it is expected but for the price id expect the restaurant food to be better. Regardless we had a great time the employees were very friendly and accommodating.

The resort is beautiful, well kept and very clean, service in the restaurants was a little questionable , daytime service in the buffet and breakfast were great , pool service was exceptional, all my friends had booked the level which was not offered to me on booking , cost me an extra $435 to upgrade or go sit on the other side of the resort which pissed ne off but overall , great place, just have patience in the restaurants , going there hungry is not going to help , it’s a very hurry up and stop scenario overall I would go back again

Property is very nice and the spa was great but it’s pretty much impossible to get reservations at the restaurants (which were empty). Staff tried to talk to managers but they couldn’t really help. They did manage to get us into one of the rooftops with sushi that we didn’t have access to but than we were given a hard time while there by staff as it wasn’t part of our package. Buffet is well, a buffet. Pools are not clean.

Amazing vibe hotel at punta cana if you’re looking for a fun vacation without the constant noise and crowds. Noise time is limited and timed; but nights are fun and with entertainment every night. There’s even has a social club muse for dancing after 11pm. The food was delicious and well balanced. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. I’d come back to this hotel without a doubt.

We stayed at Meliá for a week. The hotel is pretty beautiful, lots of green, nice rooms and excellent restaurants. Activities were great and I loved how it was a wellness experience, not a lot of noise and lots of time for relaxation. Service was really great everywhere but our favourite bar was the Jigger, a hidden spot with great cocktails, music and vibe.

It’s a beautiful property with lush green grass, tropical flowers and trees and access to pools and beach. Food options are great, beach has the softest sand, and the daily free wellness activities were fun. We tried yoga, dance classes, bike tour, aqua gym, and their evening live music and entertainment. The entertainment staff is lovely.

The YHI spa at Melia Wellness resort was fabulous. We were greeted most days. Our massages were top notch, with the perfect mix of deep pressure and soft care. We highly recommend this spa to all!

We had the best time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Place was very clean. We did not need to leave the resort. Massages were amazing. We really enjoyed the experience as the drinks and bartenders were definitely elevated. We took advantage of yoga in the mornings and some of the water activities and pool in the afternoons. Only point to note was that the resort was very quiet, so if that is what you are looking for, then this really is a wellness experience. Our group probably would have liked a little music at the pool and the rooftop bar, but we could have travelled somewhere else if we really needed it. We had fun and are planning a trip back. our concierge he was great, he took care of our reservations and activity planning!
