Clean property, family friendly, great entertainment for all ages, food was good, drinks at the bars could be better, lazy river is great for all ages. Our only issue was the pool towels, you had to wait for hours or a day to get any available. Reynaldo our concierge was awesome, he helped us a lot with restaurant’s reservations and pool towels.

This was a great, family-friendly resort. We traveled with three kids (13, 4, & 3) and everyone had a great time. The beach was a no-go. The seaweed is beyond anything I have ever seen. We never even got to touch the ocean. But the resort made up for it with all the activities, pools, lazy river, Waterpark, etc… the food was okay. Definitely not great. But there was something for everyone to enjoy and we had a great stay.

The staff was super helpful and accommodating, and everything around the resort was within walking distance making it easier to move around from place to place. They had activities for the whole family from the kids to the elders. I would definitely stay again!

Overall, this is a good resort for a family vacation. Our concierge Kevin made our stay easier and more enjoyable with professionalism. We highly recommend him! Our rating: 6/10. Here's why: -Lobby & Staff: Beautiful, clean, and a great spot to relax with drinks. The welcoming staff here stood out. -Beach: Unfortunately, it was not accessible due to heavy seaweed and natural debris. Very disappointing. -Food: Pretty average. The buffet lacked variety and the food was often cold. The à la carte restaurants also had limited options. -Rooms: Comfortable and well organized, but there’s a strong musty smell due to humidity. This needs serious attention. -Activities: Good range of activities at the pool and evening events at the plaza, you shouldn't get bored. -Customer Service: This is where the resort fails a bit. While some staff were friendly, overall service lacked energy and attentiveness. Ocean El Faro should invest in training their team to deliver a better guest experience.

The property is nice. It was hard to get used to pools and bars shutting down at 6pm. Not the resorts fault, but the ocean was inaccessible due to sargassum, so the only option was the pool. The food at the restaurants was not bad but the buffet was not very good at all. The people/guests are terribly rude (skipping in line, piling food on their plates as though it were their last meal, and not really using manners. It was nice the seating had an adult only area. No need to pay extra for privilege in my opinion. Overall, it was a nice get away. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was relatively clean. No complaints.

This was the worst experience ever. I booked an adult only jotel snd i wss plsced on the family side. When i arrived at the room, there was no electricity nor air conditioning in rhe room for 2 hours, The beach was not active. You were not allowed to go in the water. Thr rooftop jacuzzi was not operable. We reserve 3 room we were a large party of 8. There no repairs nor any accommodation. They told us they wete overbooked and no other rooms were available. There were roaches in the room. One of the room door did not closed. I complained several times with the front desk and guest sevices. After i made the complaints, I went out to eat, when to my room to find my door ledt wide open and my money missing. I made a ccomplaint, they said itsnothibg they can do. I will never ever go to any establishment of the company again. They treated my party with no respect, no respect, we felt discriminated again. This was the worst vacation anyone could ever experience. I recommend whoever chose this resort to reconsider.

I was checked into a room with no electricity, after 2hrs of waiting electricity was on with no air conditioning. I requested another room and was told there was no other rooms available. I paid for adults only inclusive and was put on the family side i was unable to go on the adult side do to the color of the braclet i was giving. There was no access to the beach, the room jacuzzi was not functional, i had no accommodation of switching to another room with air conditioning that work. The staff was not helpful at all and rude at times. After complaining i came back to my room to find my door wide open. And was rold ther was nothing they could do about it. The food was terrible and most of the time cold. This was the worst resort i have every experienced.

Penta dreams Royal last year was great this year we went to Ocean El Farro in this place is way bigger the rooftop rooms are great and the atmosphere is more fun. A lot more lively. Only issue is they don’t stock the bars with the right amount of personnel for the size of the gathering. Other than that super fun they have a lot of events going on and a nightlife shows are awesome and entertaining. Definitely will be coming back here in November.

This was the most horrible resort I have ever stayed at the room smelled like mold and mildew the sliding door did not lock the food was horrible. Room service was rude when we ordered food and we had no access to the beach which was infested with ants and the water from the shower was running all over the floor. The tub has no grip handles so it was almost impossible to get out of I required assistance to get out. Extremely limited activities and after paying for an adult only reservation was placed in the family area and was not allowed to enter into the restaurants on the adult size. Save your money do not go to this resort.

We had a wonderful family vacation in the middle of June. The family room was spacious and sunny. We were lucky that we had good weather throughout the week. Great internet everywhere from the hotel rooms to the common areas, which was really important for us. Great services and smiles in general, especially great greetings and helps from Josia. The food at the buffet area is good, must get the daily seafood at the grill station. Salads are fresh, but I was hoping for more variety of fruits. The only regret was that we couldn't get a table at the Steak House at all for the entire week. Every morning I tried but it's fully booked starting at 7:30am, unbelievable. Lazy river was our favorite thing. There is no access to the ocean because the beach was full of seaweed. Kids loved the foam party. I might try the Ocean Blue Resort next time for a better beach and water activities.
