Hotel was nice, food was good, staff was not friendly. Had a handful of friendly workers, not just our experience, was talked about by other guests as well. Very pushy to get you to sign up to for timeshare sales pitch. Restaurants reservations were very limited when booking, yet each restaurant was 25-30% full. Room service was not available unless you booked the day before. 24 hour room service was not available most time frames, due to reservations times all being booked just liked he dinners.

Overall this is great resort for families. Staff and service very good especially alexander bartender at infinity pool by the beach. Food is very good from buffet to a la carte restaurants, also very good hamburgers at food cart by the beach. Only negative is a little too boring after 10 pm not much entertainment. Sports bar closes too early

The DC pool was great. Bladimir hosted" us by securing a great location to stay out of the sun except when my family was in the pool. He kept our drinks up to date and constantly checked with us. Between him and our DC Butler Manuel, we felt well cared for. The food overall was average but I honestly don't expect too much from all inclusive resorts. The Italian restaurant was our favorite followed by the Japanese Teppanyaki. Again, thanks to Bladimir and Manuel for making our experience memorable. Finally, the renovated Punta Cana airport was a HUGE improvement over the last two times we traveled to Punta Cana.

Todo bien con el servicio del hotel. No llego el maletero a recogernos a la habitacion. Estalin estuvo ayudando a mi grupo en la estadia. El hotel es de buena calidad pero esta muy americanizado, todo en ingles cuando buscamos la cultura y sabor de RD. Por lo demas todo bien.

Amazing stay, we had so much fun and relaxing time! Cesar for the reception amazing guy and service! Mateo and Alexander from the infinity pool (Bar) both guys offers such a great service! We also had such a relaxing time at the spa Bellanira and her staff was profesional and attentive!!

I really loved the Royalton at one point. It’s a good place for families and friend groups. However in just a year’s time things have changed tremendously and I will be putting this resort on the bottom of the list. First change was the lazy river had no rafts to use it was all for purchase or rentals but I never even got a chance to hang out in the lazy river because of that. The new staff was not as friendly as the ones before. I have been to this resort 5 times and even the workers said a lot of changes were made. I will only visit to see the family I have bonded with and that has been working there for years. So many other changes were made like the check in process longggggggggg and the rooms are never ready on time.

I loved everything about our stay except the beach was full of seaweed. Which was out of the resorts control. We had the Diamond Club upgrade and its well worth it!

Went with my family all of our rooms had mold everywhere inside and outside, we all stayed in different buildings. We complained to the staff about it nothing was done. making dinner reservations was pointless because we would wait 30+ min to be sat regardless. some staff was friendly others were not.

Except for the efforts of the staff the hotel fails in any other aspect: dirty rooms and blankets, very noisy, poison food with no refrigeration (air condition was shut down for a couple of days in all restaurants) and being a “family” hotel, grotesque scenes with drunk people. Awful experience.
