Ta' Mananni -Holiday villa with own private swimming pool

ta Mananni is a lovely three bedroom holiday villa with own private swimming pool located at the outskirts of Qala. Just 2 km away from from Mgarr Ferry harbour and within walking distance to restaurants, mini markets, butcher, etc. It is an ideal place to unwind and relax for both families and couples all year round. Lovely for country walks in winter and just within ten minutes driving to all beaches in Gozo. Eating out is typical mediterranean with lots of pasta, fresh fish, meats and local vegetables.
As such Ta Mananni is an excellent holidayhome for romantic couples and families all year round and during school holidays too. Since Gozo is an excellent diving location, ta Mananni is an equally well placed property.


ta Mananni has got three bedrooms all with ensuite shower/bathrooms and the fourth bathroom is a jacuzzi type. Kitchen is fully equipped and located next to dining area which sits six adults. This is open plan type with lounge area consisting of two sofas, one a two seater and a three seater plus a wing chair. Cable tv and dvd is lcoated next to a fire place for the cooler winter months. This overlooks the swimming pool with is a pleasant figure of eight overflow type. Pool deck is large enough for sun loungers, garden furniture for al fresco dining, barbeque and outdoor shower. Free wi-fi as regards broadband internent available throughout the villa.

Wonderful little castel

We had an amazing week in Ta Mananni, and we wish we could have stayed another week in this beautiful and spacious house. It looks much better in real than in pictures. We found everything we needed int he house, we could see the stars on the roof top and relax during the day on the sun beds. We already plan to come back next year! Thanks a lot Raymond!

Perfect villa stay

Beautiful villa with a lovely pool, ideal for two adults and two older teens. Conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from the local beach, with many other stunning beaches and attractions reachable within 30 to 45 minutes by car.A handy tip: keep plenty of 1 and 2 euro coins on hand to prepay for the air conditioning, which typically costs around 2 to 4 euros per night. The host was very responsive to any questions, and we were thoroughly impressed with the villa’s quality and condition. It’s situated in a peaceful neighborhood - despite the locals’ enthusiastic fireworks during their fiesta week!We couldn’t recommend this villa more highly, nor the beautiful island of Gozo itself.

À lovely home in Gozo

This is a beautiful property with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The pool was great and all poolside furniture provided. The village of Qala is authentic and attractive and peaceful - except when Qala FC won the Championship! We were eating at one of the lovely restaurants when the victory buses passed and we all turned out to cheer.

A great time had by all

A well needed break for the family, including a 7 & 4 year olds, who enjoyed dragging us into the lovely pool each morning. Raymond’s villa lived up to expectations, from the minute I opened the entrance door, seeing the pool to walking inside with my son to run around selecting one of the three ample bedrooms. We opted for the one downstairs as we could get to the pool first. All had their own en suite, and beds were comfortable too. The property is set in a great location for both exploring Gozo and Malta. It is in a quieter part of Qala and has very easy access to the ferry so no problem for trips over to the mainland. There were a number of close by supermarkets, small and large (Gozo size) and perfectly adequate for all the usual family supplies. There is a decent relaxing beach nearby within a short car trip, and within walking distance bars and a few restaurants making a perfect excuse to not cook! So with a hire car at ones disposal (parking at the end of the entrance ally is not a problem), I would say Raymond’s villa makes for the perfect base to enjoy all Malta (and Gozo) has to offer. Wonderful villa

We had such a relaxing stay in this amazing villa. The entrance to the property is unassuming but the wow factor when you open the gate into the beautiful pool and outside area carries on as you enter the property. It is better than the photographs and everything is just perfect and so spacious and comfortable. The local area is really nice with fantastic views just outside the property. There are a few restaurants in walking distance along with a well stocked chemist and local grocery store, a larger supermarket is a short drive. The island of Gozo is really lovely and worth exploring, although google maps did take us down some interesting routes. Xlendi was one of our favourite places for swimming, watersports and rock jumping, if you dare, there were also some nice places to eat. I would totally recommend you visit Gozo and stay in Ta' Mananni. Many thanks to Raymond who was very helpful both before and during our stay.

Amazing Property

It's very rare that you arrive at a property and it totally exceeds your expectations but this was the case with Ta' Mananni. The rooms were much bigger than we expected and the whole place is immaculate. The pool was pristine and I cannot recommend this property enough. Raymond was so helpful both before and during our visit. He answered any questions we might have incredibly quickly. The town is lovely with a number of great bars and restaurants within walking distance, all within a very picturesque little square by the church. It is a quick trip down to the ferry which takes you over to Malta should you want to spend some time there - we did, but there is also plenty to do on Gozo. This was our first trip to Gozo and Malta but it won't be our last. We would also look to stay at Ta' Mananni again.

Ein wunderschönes Objekt auf der Insel Gozo mit Pool

Nach einem unkomplizierten Check-In haben wir die Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoß und im Obergeschoß bezogen um gleich uns im Pool abzukĂŒhlen und zu erfrischen. Die Einrichtung ist wie beschrieben und das Willkommenspaket hat uns geholfen. Alle erforderlichen Utensilien zur Selbstverpflegung sind in der KĂŒche vorhanden, leider fehlt nur ein GeschirrspĂŒler. DafĂŒr hĂ€lt an sechs Werktagen ein Backmobil morgens vor der TĂŒr. Alle Familienteilnehmer haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es gab ĂŒberhaupt keinen Anlass zur Klage.

First Timers North Carolina

First time visiting Gozo. Highly recommend staying at Ta Mananni. Raymond was first class before booking, prior to arrival and during our stay. He arranged transport from the the Malta Airport and return back (even when our flight was at 6 AM, which meant departing Gozo at 2 AM). He stocked the refrigerator starter (Milk, deli meat, water, cheese). Villia had basic also, sugar, spices, tea, coffee etc. Location worked well for us. Short 5/10 minute walk to Qala(3 restaurants/1 Bar) 10 minute walk to Mgarr (Harbor) all downhill, do not reccommend walking from Mgarr to villa unless you want the challenge of the hills. 20 Minute hike to Hondoq Beach(highly recommend) Bedrooms & Bathrooms were great. Pool was excellent and larger and deeper than expected. Plenty of room for large group. Wi-Fi, no issues. If you are going when AC is needed there are AC units in the common area and all bedrooms. You will need to feed the meter to get "credits" which was a new concept for us and were a little unsure about it but it was fine. We ran the units in two bedrooms and common area and it cost about 3-5 euros a day (plus it was the hottest it had been all year also). Tip: gets some "coins" prior to arrival so you can use the AC units. Transport around Gozo is easy and efficient. The public buses are usually on time and they are ACed. Bus stop is only a five minute walk from Villa. You can pay as you go or get a weekly pass. "Bolt" worked well for us if time was top priority

Lovely Villa in a Wonderful Location

Ta' Mananni is a gorgeous villa that is perfectly situated in the quiet, beautiful village of Qala. Its location is excellent - restaurants, bars, mini-marts, and stunning views of the island's landscape are always within reach. The house is spacious, clean and equipped with a generous number of amenities - it was easy to feel comfortable and at home here. We are so grateful to Raymond & his staff and we truly hope that we can return in the future. Thank you for a great stay, Raymond!

The Villa was lovely, spacious, clean and the 6 of us had all we wanted, bedrooms and bathrooms each, even an extra bathroom. The pool was great too, real suntrap. We used the local bars and restaurants, all good, particularly D-Bar and Ta-Vestru. The little supermarket behind the church was great, an Alladins Cave! We used the open-topped bus for a tour of the island and found some great bays and sites which we revisited by local taxis and bus services. The owner was particularly friendly and helpful throughout, thanks Raymond.

Lovely Villa in a Lovely Town

Completely enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa in Qala. Highlights included the large bedrooms, beautiful pool, ample on-street parking, being able to walk into town, the quiet location and our host, Raymond, who was easily reached for questions and who went above and beyond making sure we enjoyed our stay. It is a short drive to the ferry, and we used a ride share one day to the terminal at Mgarr and took the high speed passenger ferry on an easy ride to Valletta, so we didn't have to take the car ferry and drive in. No need! We spent a wonderful morning at the Temple at Ggantija, so fascinating, and stopped for an amazing lunch at Oleander in Xaghra. Then on to the salt pans on the coast and visited the wonderful Natural Xwenji Sea Salt Shop, where we met the "producer," Alfred Attard, and chatted with him and his lovely daughter who runs their shop. We bought the most delicious sea salt! So memorable. We especially enjoyed the fresh seafood and pizza at Xerri Ik Bukket, a restaurant with amazing water views and just a short walk from the villa. Great Maltese wines as well. They are open very late, and saved us at 10:30 pm after a long flight when we were so hungry. Ta' Mananni was the perfect getaway for our family and we enjoyed ourselves there so much! Thank you, Raymond and staff!

Another great visit

Villa was perfectly situated - excellent cafe/restaurant nearby, good local shop and perfect for the ferry. The pool was the best we have had at a villa in Gozo - clean and well maintained. Space inside was perfect for a 3 generation family Raymond was the perfect host - quick to respond to messages with a positive reply Thank you for letting us stay We hope to come back again in the not too distant future.
