This dome offers a view of the valley by the riverbanks of Jacques-Cartier River. Welcoming up to 4 travelers, you will find quiet and comfort in this little piece of paradise. Located only 30 minutes away from the city and a few minutes from numerous resort attractions, you can easily discover Quebec and explore the surrounding area, all in the same day! With no more than a visit to Village Vacances Valcartier, a day of rafting or a discovery rally around Old Quebec, your days will be more than filled!

Enter a small haven of peace. You will be able to admire the surrounding nature, river, forest and mountains through the glass wall at the back of the dome. You can comfortably enjoy this view both inside and outside from your private terrace. You will appreciate the skylight allowing the sun's rays to illuminate the space. The dome can accommodate up to 4 people; there is a queen size bed and a double sofa bed. To prepare a small meal, you can use the portable BBQ and a propane camp stove. You must bring your own propane canisters (small size 16 oz Coleman style). The cooking of food must be done outside, because it is forbidden to use any flames inside. Aside from the propane cans, the rest of the cooking equipment (utensils, plates, cauldron, etc.) as well as drinking water are provided. You will need to bring your cooler for your food since there is no refrigerator. We also recommend a flashlight for evening strolls. The dome uses minimal electricity through solar panels, just enough for lights to be used and cell phones to be charged. Although there is an indoor fireplace (that activates automatically during autumn and winter seasons), we recommend a pair of sandals or slippers as well as a warm comforter for the interior of the domes in order to have a more enjoyable stay. An outdoor portable toilet is installed near the dome.

The dome is located on the site of the Vallée Jeunesse; a non-profit organization that seeks to help young people with academic and/or social adjustment difficulties. When you rent a dome, a chalet or a house, you allow this organization to finance its mission: to bring hope to young people, help them regain confidence in their skills, in their future! Like any vacation resort, the Vallée site has several other villas, cottages and chalets and gathering places, it has access to the Jacques-Cartier River, and canoe rentals to enjoy it. During summer, the river can be a refreshing place and for those who love fishing, they will also find it is a very nice spot.
