Situated within a ten-minute stroll to town, restaurants and shops, Hallenstein Penthouse is located in the heart of beautiful Queenstown. Beautifully presented, having been newly built for the holiday market it offers comfort and puts you at ease.

Spread out over 2 floors, the apartment offers 3 bedrooms and ample living and dining space, each more opulent than the next.

This is a lovely apartment within walking distance to beautiful Queenstown. The kitchen is well equipped, it was very clean and the rooms are spacious. Unfortunately, we did not realize that there would be a flight and a half of steps just to enter the apartment and another full flight to the upstairs bedrooms. They have an elevator, but it is not for use of the guests as the service is spotty. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

Great apartment close to city centre

A great apartment with lots of space. A short work to the city centre which is easy to get to shops and restaurants. The place is warm in the cooler season - floor heating in kitchen and bathrooms. The gas fire heater was temperamental at times but additional heater also. Note that the internal lift is currently not in use so there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Would recommend for a family or group of friends. Great place and look forward to visiting again.

Spring Break

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We had more space than we needed but our boys each took a bedroom as a luxury, since they share a room at home. The view is stunning and having the deck to sit on was wonderful! The location was great with an easy walk into town. The hill on the way back home is the perfect way to get some exercise and walk off your dinner. We never used the kitchen since there are too many good restaurants to choose from, but it seemed well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable. The primary bedroom was a winner with the view and we enjoyed the fresh air with the doors open. It was cold at night but we appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom. The building was quiet, and we had no issues with any loud neighbors. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful, just be sure to have your own laundry detergent. Parking was easy and we loved having a garage space. I honestly can’t think of one thing we weren’t happy with. The only thing that would make it better would be a hot tub on the deck, but the primary bathtub was a great back-up! We would absolutely stay again at this property and would highly recommend it!

Lovely apartment, however, the gas fire didn’t always turn on. After spending quite a bit of time trying to turn it on, we were told that it’s a fault with the fire. Would have been good to have known this before wasting time trying to get it to go and then emailing the manager.

Clean, tidy and modern this townhouse was a joy to visit. Probably worth noting that the lift was not working during our visit - which was no issue for us but may be worth checking if that is a requirement for your travel party. It is only 3 short flights of stairs to the front door.

Our family of five adults really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was just as described - plenty of room for everyone and well equipped - and check-in was easy. Lovely views, the complex was quiet and an easy walk to town. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment, in beautiful Queenstown

We spent Christmas here and it had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, beautiful views, great outdoor space, plush towels etc etc. It’s perfectly located - a quick walk down the hill into Queenstown (a good calorie burner back up the hill especially with a pram/stroller). Communicating with the hosts was super easy and they were very responsive - and had our baby cot and high chair as requested. Definitely recommend and would book again!

Queenstown Weekender

The Penthouse P2 was an excellent choice for our family, the overall ease of use, comfort and the absolutely stunning views! The walk down to town is quite steep in sections, so just something to watch out for if you have elderly guests. However, the Uber service in Queenstown is very good, so we managed that easily. I couldn’t fault Goodstays or the property and would highly recommend both to anyone looking to stay in Queenstown.

Very nice apartment in great location to town

Due to short staff the cleaning was delayed and check was pushed to 4pm which was not ideal and travelling since 5.30am, the property was in a great location and very handy to the town centre, there was two adults and three children so the 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect, we had a flame effect heater and a heat pump so the heating was great, the under floor heating in the bathroom and kitchen was amazing in winter, the kitchen had everything you would require, the lift was not operating but access via the stairs was fine, we had a single garage which was good but no other parking onsite allocated for this apartment, we would rebook this apartment in the future

Family Gathering

Immaculate property, in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk from town centre. Loved that each bedroom had its own ensuite and kitchen contained everything we needed to entertain at home. Only complaint was the large tree in front of the lounge window spoilt some of our lake view.
