My husband and I had a good stay here. Our room and bed were comfortable. We used the dining facilities both evenings and found the staff in the dining and bar area to be very friendly and efficient.

A Pleasant Stay at the Rendezvous I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rendezvous hotel, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and efficiency. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. What stood out to me was the attention to detail – from the quality of the linens to the modern décor, everything seemed carefully chosen to enhance the guest experience. Overall, my stay at the Rendezvous was excellent. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location makes it a top choice for anyone visiting the area. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.

Our room had a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake, which is gradually disappearing due to inadequate garden maintenance. The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a super-comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a delicious bar meal in the evening, which was perfectly cooked. However, the staff at the front desk were quite disorganised and not very helpful. Clearly, there are gaps in staff training and communication that need to be addressed for Heritage Hotel to meet its star status.

Not very helpful. Wasn’t ready for check in time. Hair / muck on floor. Toilet was leaking - had to call 8am and 3pm to get maintenance. Room Service didn’t come, had to call at 3.30 for this.lift was out of service so had to carry everything up and down stairs. No water at the hotel upon checking out so no shower or water to brush teeth. No compensation nor sympathy. Wasn’t told about car park charge. Won’t be staying again!

Thankful for the upgrade. We stayed in the forestview part of the hotel I’m not sure if that was an upgrade. I guess it was an upgrade to a bigger room. We had better stay at our motels in te-anua and twizel and this one is more expensive. Also my friend had some bites in our room. Basically it was an ok stay ….by the lake , but we dont have the view . Still a drive to the dining options in the town and limited free parking or you pay for the parking … but it kept us safe ….
