The view of the boats coming and going from the Marina is something you don’t get easily. Lots of wildlife around. Room was big, shower big, good a/c. Great hosts.

The view from the room/balcony is amazing! The room is very spacious. You get a clean modern look, but once you step outside you feel like you’re in the jungle.

The best thing was the spectacular view from our room of the sea and far off mainland, we could sit in bed looking out, which was wonderful! Our jungle room was large and modern with its own lovely semi private balconies surrounded by forest. All of which was perfect! Unfortunately there were a few down sides. When we booked via Hotels.com breakfast was included within the price, but once booked we were informed it wasn't. Tried contacting the hotel and Hotels.com numerous times with no response. At the time the restaurant and bar were closed and there are no alternatives available for breakfast or for an evening meal without a long walk up a very steep hill, or drive. Not ideal for a relaxing holiday. Whilst the room was very nice, there was no way of turning lights off or on when in bed, which meant the need for a torch when going to bed. The area seemed to have a lot of building works going on around the rooms, together with a noisy pool motor was again not ideal. Gustavo the owner was extremely helpful and most welcoming. Overall we had a most pleasant stay.

Hotel VOS is truly a special place. From the moment you pull into the property, you’re greeted with beautiful views, and the hotel is very easy to find. Gustavo was an exceptional host who made us feel completely at home from the start. He truly embodies the pura vida spirit—warm, gracious, and incredibly attentive. He went above and beyond to help us and made our stay feel personal and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and updated, and everything felt spotless and very well taken care of. You can tell a lot of pride goes into maintaining the property. The view from the pool is absolutely breathtaking and quickly became one of our favorite places to relax. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants, beaches, tours, and local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Check-in and check-out were seamless and stress-free, with no delays at all. We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Hotel Vós to anyone looking for comfort, incredible views, and outstanding hospitality.

This is a small and cozy hotel a bit away from main tourist action which is perfect if you prefer relaxation and privacy. The views are magnificent, nothing beats waking up in the morning and seeing the ocean from your bed. And sometimes even beautiful macaus in the tree next to your window. Although the location is a bit away from the main village everything still is within a walking distance (but you have to be prepared to walk uphill A LOT), including two very nice beaches, restaurants, shopping and even a nightclub. You can get around without using the car all the time, which is nice because finding parking space in the area can be quite tricky so when you have found one, stay there :) Service in the hotel has much more personal feel than usually found in large chain establishments and the owner does everything in his power to make the guests feel truly at home.

The location is currently under going construction so waking up at 7am after driving the night before wasn’t pleasant. But first of all hotel got my dates of arrival incorrect decided to upgrade my room to secretly make up for the no breakfast as listed. Everything is shut down in the hotel no room service,restaurant etc. The road to get to the hotel are so awful only two parking slots two! Walking out in the morning to my RENTAL I found tarp from the workers laid over my vehicle! Photos will pull you in, I was very deceived wish they would have told me ahead of time or listed that it’s going under construction.

Nice room with amazing views. Huge accessibility to outside from the room. The first morning I went to find the breakfast that was advertised as included and the owner told me that they only serve breakfast during “high season” and that starts next week. He told me he had an argument with another guest about the same thing and he said “I don’t play that game”. I’m not sure what game that is, but I call it false advertising. Later in the day we went to use the microwave and there was a coffee cup inside that had been there growing fungus for who knows how long. When we took the cup to the owner, he scolded his cleaner in front of us. I find that to be unprofessional. Did I mention the front of the building was under heavy construction. Lastly, we inquired about a longer stay because we like the location and the room and he quoted us full price for an extension. One would think they would want to do something or anything to make up for the mishaps, but that did not happen. We packed up and went elsewhere for the rest of our vacation. Good room, poor customer service.

The view from hotel was great and the property itself has lots of potential. However, the hotel is severely understaffed. We came back one night to find the main visitor entrance (which was previously left open at all times) locked and requiring an access code. There was no staff and no one answered the emergency number posted near the entrance. We eventually had to break in to the hotel by forcing open a side entrance. It was not a pleasant experience and one that guests should not have to deal with. It’s a pity since the owner seems like a genuinely nice guy. But he seemed to be taking on a lot of the day to day tasks of running the hotel at the expense of guest experience. Bar/restaurant is closed and no option for breakfast. Pool was also not usable during our entire stay.
