Welcome to our stunning property located on Playa Espadilla, the main public beach in Manuel Antonio. We pride ourselves on being the closest house that is not part of a resort or hotel to Manuel Antonio National Park. Our unique feature is a private sidewalk that connects our private lap pool directly to the sands of Playa Espadilla. We have an abundance of monkeys, all three types, sloths that visit every day and even a toucan next right next to our pool! There is also a Jesus Christ lizard that runs across the pool often!

The property also boasts a large private jacuzzi that is entirely private. Guests will enjoy daily housekeeping services, which include laundry, ensuring a stress-free stay. Our full-time concierge, a local expert who grew up in Manuel Antonio, is available to assist with anything you need, from arranging airport transportation to stocking the fridge before your arrival and helping you celebrate special events.

The house features three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, providing ample space for families or groups. Situated on a half-acre lot, the property ends right at the sand of Playa Espadilla. Inside, you'll find beautifully hand-painted sinks, crafted for the owner who traveled the world studying monkeys. The second story offers a massive balcony with breathtaking ocean views, where you can relax and listen to the soothing sound of the waves.

Great house!

Perfect location on a great beach. Very comfortable home. Lots of room for people to spread out and have personal space. The entire team is so helpful and friendly. We had the rental car delivered and picked up from the driveway. Lots of birds and monkeys visited us in the pool. I wish we had the chef cook us more than one meal. Dinner was amazing.

I couldn't believe it was real.

When I first saw this listing, I thought it might be fake. There wasn't a single review when we booked it 6 months ago. But we committed anyway. I am thrilled to report that it is absolutely real and the best vacation we've ever had. Firstly, the concierge service is real, and you should utilize it. They will get your groceries, set up restaurants, and plan excursions. I didn't know you needed advanced tickets to Manuel Antonio park, and they were totally sold out. Fabien, our concierge, hooked us up with a tour, and we saw sloths, monkeys, swam at the beach, the whole bit. But, it turns out, the house is so close to the park, you almost don't need to go to the park. We would sit in the pool or hot tub and watch the monkeys (squirrel and capuchin) run and jump all over the backyard, right next to us. Jesus Christ lizards sunned on the fence and sculptures. Agoutis foraged around in the yard. You can hear the howler monkeys from the house. The ocean was so close, but not too close that you felt you were being watched. Juan and Manuela take care of you while you are at the house. Laundry, sand cleanup, pool cleaning, and making sure you always had fresh towels and clean dishes, such a luxury! They created a real sense of security and friendliness. The house has air conditioners in all bedrooms and the main rooms, and we were always comfortable.Thank you Fabien, Juan, & Manuela!

This Home is a Treasure!

This property is an absolute treasure. It is filled with decor from around the world and photos from the owner's travels - truly aspirational. We stayed only a couple of days as a portion of a larger family trip visiting multiple regions of Costa Rica, but we will definitely be returning for a longer stay at this home. The home comes with full staff - concierge, housekeeper, groundskeeper, and even a chef on request. The concierge, Fabian was beyond helpful from pre-trip planning to assistance during the stay. The groundskeepers were incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job keeping the grounds (and pool) immaculate during our stay. We used the chef services on our first night (after sending a frantic text to Fabian at 4PM when our drive was taking far longer than expected) and he arranged for the chef to prepare dinner to our exact specifications and dinner was on the table by 6:30pm. Fantastic!! The wildlife onsite is unreal - the monkeys are absolutely adorable and there are a ton of them. There was a beautiful toucan that landed on our porch multiple times, iguanas, and even a cat than stopped by one night. Our kids (ages 4, 7) were in HEAVEN. The beach is only steps away through the back gate and there are two restaurants (and bars) within a 2 minute walk either direction. My husband and I got massages on the beach from a vendor that was setup there and they were fantastic. I could not provide a higher recommendation of this property.

Beachside Haven

The property was secure, luxurious, convenient, and well supported. We really appreciated the help from the staff and the beach access cannot be topped! The house was full of character and had everything we needed. We loved the pool, hot tub, kitchen, staff, help with the tours, and everything we experienced during our stay. 10/10 Pura vida!
