My husband alone utilized this apartment because it was near UNC Chapel Hill Hospital, where my daughter had an extended 10 day stay. We greatly appreciated that the host was quickly available when we needed to make a last-minute stay. The apartment complex is only 2 miles from the hospital. We also appreciated that he welcomed our little doodles with no additional fee.
Stayed here visiting our kids at UNC. The host, Eric, was very communicative and helpful. The space worked out well for us and is a short drive to campus. A good option if coming to Chapel Hill.
A nice apartment with many amenities. Projector, washer/dryer, toiletries. Quiet. The apartment was not as clean as hoped: a coffee pot had old coffee in it, there were some furniture surfaces that should have been wiped. There were no liners for the trash cans. However, the owner was quite responsive when we had questions. And if the apartment had been more carefully cleaned, we would have been very satisfied. I suspect it was an unusual circumstance. I would likely recommend.
Ideal setup to work remotely while visiting my son at UNC for a week. Apartment well and comfortably furnished. Neighborhood is quiet and convenient. Kitchen is equipped with basics, nothing fancy but fine. My only VERY minor quibbles are that I did not have code to get in and had to ask for it after I was already in town, so that was a little stressful. Could also use more light, especially in bedroom. I know this is partly a function of no overhead light wiring but itâs really quite dark. On the other hand, the outside porch light made it hard to sleep without room darkening shades, I used a mask so no biggie.
