Famous for being the site of important peace treaties after the First World War, the city of Rapallo is located on the western part of Gulf Tigullio, and is also known for its seafront and the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montallegro. The sumptuous defensive castle of Rapallo overlooks the ligurian sea and it's surrounded by small beaches, bordered by the fabulous Lungomare Vittorio Veneto. Do not miss the only one of the five remaining doors of the ancient âBorgo Muratoâ, the âPorta delle Salineâ, which overlooks the sea and houses the Baroque altar with the Madonna di Montallegro.
Rapallo train station is less than a 20-minute walk away from the apartment while Genoa airport is 40 minutes by car.
