Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.
Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean and organized. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We checked in really late due to travel complications and they made sure we could get in easily. Lots of towels supplies so we didn’t have to worry about that as we stayed a whole week. My personal input would be that there should be some basic things added that we needed. A few spices, salt and pepper, A can opener, paper and pen, shampoo and body wash. We added a couple coffee mugs as there were only really small ones
and for us coffee lovers, we need a large cup!!!Other than these minor items. We had a great stay. We Loved the bbq. We used it every time we ate in. Never even used the stovetop!

Great family vacation spot!

The cabin (cottage) was comfortable for our family of five. We rented a two bedroom and it had a hideabed. Utensils were provided, which was great when we cooked out on the provided gas grill. Staff was accommodating when we needed it but we really didn’t need anything. Everything was already stalked. We would definitely come stay here again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!The Piceks

I thought a cabin would be ideal to eat at home most times, have a nice relaxing environment, and still be able to explore a bunch of fun things with the kids. It turned out perfect, exactly how I hoped it would be. Our week away seemed short but it wasn't.

Enjoyed our stay. It was nice being within walking distance of the lake and trails. Very clean. Only wish was for ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The box fans were a bit noisy.

Such a cozy little cabin. Centrally located for all the sites we wanted to see. Less than 30 minutes from Mt Rushmore and Keystone, and about an hour from Deadwood, Devils Tower, Badlands and Wind Cave. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this to family and friends.

Quiet cottage

This cottage was exactly what we wanted. It was exactly as listed and was a great base for our vacation. Quiet and in a wooded area with a playground for my kids. Checkin was easy and we would definately stay again!

Nice little home away from home

My husband and I were very pleased and would highly recommend. Very clean and accommodating. We loved the location. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough should you need supplies or just want to do a little shopping.
