I really enjoyed staying here. It's a long way from downtown Rapid City, but the good thing is that there are Uber and Lyft options, which made transportation easier for me. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. I also appreciate the kindness of the waitresses at Minervas Restaurant, as I had a delicious meal and they were very helpful. Thank you very much.

All the traffic lights were out. It seemed as if traffic 5 roads converged on exit 59 off of route 90.where the hotel was located. Not really to safe. NOT THE HOTELS FAULT.

Upon check in I was treated rudely. the one staff that checked me was so harsh anbout my the type of room I needed and I booked my room in advance to have accommodations for my family needs. The staff was unprofessional and told me that he does not have to accommodate me even if I booked my room in advance. The event I attended had a block of rooms and we asked if we can stay in that block and the check person dismissed me like I was not important enough. I never was treated so unprofessionally. It is sad that a customer was treated to poorly. Good luck to any person having to stay here.

Great location. Room was comfortable. Bathroom had mold in the shower, and NO bath towels set (got the grandkids into the tub, to discover there were no towels .... had to make my way thru the maze of hallways to get to the front desk). The room WAS quiet and the sliding glass door from the room to the parking area was convenient when unloading and loading up in the morning. There is NO breakfast included in the room rate: we were able to order breakfast to go from Minerva's and that was a nice option (albeit pricey). The pet friendly amenity was a bonus (even with the $25 a night fee). We did NOT use the water park .... got checked in late, and were out early in the morning to see Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments.

Property was decent, staff at front desk was great. We did however find two empty whiskey bottles under the mattress, and overall room cleanliness was not great. Otherwise the kids had a good time at the water park and the restaurant was great.
