Waited for some time for attendant to check in, room smelled like it had a lot of smoking in days gone by, husband had to immediately kill bugs. Bedding appeared to be unwashed and unkept. Entire building was shored up with beams, entire basement lit up and opened to the elements so that we can all see the rubble as we arrive-I assume due to river flooding a few years back. Didn't stay in room. Returned keys to lobby, ate the $150 and got a one of the last rooms left in town at chain hotel which was WAAAAY better/cleaner. Would rather sleep outside than in this place. Sorry-love unique hotels and wanted to love this one-NEVER AGAIN. Wouldve driven the 3 hrs back home rather than even sit down in the space, if we hadnt gotten lucky with another hotel room avlble at other hotel.
Yodeler is an old historic motel. Yes it was out dated but what do you expect in an old historic motel. It was very clean and the area was very nice and quiet.
I would stay there again without hesitation. I would encourage anyone who is traveling in the area of Red Lodge and needed a fantastic place to stay, try Yodeler. Book early because rooms fill up fast.
I love everything about this place. Starting with AJ , the owner, who warmly greets you at the front desk. This historic motel has everything you need to be comfortable, including an awesome coffee machine in the lobby, a comfortable bed, a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the perfect rustic comfy feel. Itâs in the perfect location to walk to the cutest downtown area with great bars and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and make this your place to be when visiting Red Lodge.
