Warm welcome by staff at reception and breakfast room. Hot and cold breakfast options were very good and flavour some.Room was clean and comfortable,as was the bed, however the room looked tired and required some general maintenance.

The hotel was no lift and the majority of rooms are upstairs. I was told my room 145 was at the top of the first lot of steps but it wasn't...quite a walk and 2 more flights of stairs

Would not recommend this place at all felt dirty wasp flying around even in the dining arearooms not cleaned properly dirty towels and what looked like old blood on pillow case

Great stay

We had Bed and Breakfast and the food was great for breakfast after a very comfortable nights sleep. We also had dinner in the evening in the restaurant which was delicious

Nice staff, good facilities

This is the second time I've stayed here with work. Have enjoyed both occasions. Staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are clean, comfortable and with decent facilities. Food and drink is good quality and reasonable price. Only criticism would be the car park - can get v busy and some spaces are very tight. Aside from that, lovely hotel and will be staying there again.

Not the best experience

Arrived early had a nice walk around the grounds, looked in need of tlc around the building perimeter. Tried to check in at the desk had to go on a hunt fur a staff member. The room was ok but hadn't been cleaned very well there was a prescription tablet on the floor by the bed! The TV had sound but no picture managed to re set it on wall behind unit. Wanted to shower in the evening, it was stone cold. Spoke to reception and offers us another room. That shower was just as bad, no pressure just trickled out, very frustrating when we had been out all day extremely hot and tired and just wanted a quick shower. That also didn't get very warm! Overall considering it boasted 'signature' hotel I wasn't impressed the staff were minimal and even breakfast wasnt great the coffee was horrible.

Second time staying, was less enjoyable than the first time. Could do with intergrating air conditioning units into the room for warmer days due to restless nights, also there was rubbish under the bed and dust around the room, there were other guests outside until around midnight smoking drugs on the garden which lingered into our room so had to shut the windows. Breakfast and the hot chocolate is the main reason for our return.
