We stay at the Nugget often but the cost of this stay was extremely expensive

Booking online was easy. They definitely need more security in and around the property. It does not feel safe at night at all especially in the parking lot in the dark. There seems to be a lot of unsavory people roaming around and hanging out on the property. The bed was very comfortable and on the outside the room looks clean but in the morning I was looking for my earring in the bed and lifted up the comforter and there was a huge brownish yellow stain on the comforter underneath. It was a king bed and luckily I was not sleeping on that side. There was one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and it was almost out. I ran out of toilet paper very quickly without a spare roll on the bathroom. The Nugget will always hold a special place in my heart though. Miss the way it was ran when Mr Ascuaga ran it.

We found a used bandaid stuck inside sheets at the bottom of the bed. Plus we came up for a concert, so room prices were higher than usual. Then the concert was canceled and hotel would not make any allowances

Great stay when in Reno

Always a great stay when in Reno. Location is close to downtown for all the action and far enough away for downtime. The casino/hotel has a lot to offer for those who do not want to venture out - restaurants, pool, casino, arcade. The hotel always has clean comfortable rooms with all standard amenities at a great value. Staff is professional and friendly.

Motel is nice and updated. Pillows need to be updated, bed was comfortable. Views were spectacular! Parking was great and plentiful. Food was amazing! I ate at the oyster bar. My only complaint is there is no microwave in the room

Scary neighbor

We had a neighbor next door banging on the floor and swearing at 2:30AM. This went on for an hour, we finally call the front desk and they sent up someone and the person finally shut up. There was a baby in the room also crying. We didn’t much sleep that night because my wife was afraid of this guy. We have stayed at this Hotel before without any problems.

I loved how big this property was and all the amenities it offered. Easy parking, quiet hotel. The decor is in dire need of updating, especially in the room. It looks like the wallpaper, bathtub, and sink have been the same for 30 years.
