Charming cottage with a unique view

We offer the first floor with the size of 150 sqm in a house with two floors of Dipl. forester Herbert Ott and his wife Elpida Ott on the edge of the village Episkopi, which was built with much love and taste. It offers a unique view of the sea and the white mountains. The village of Episkopi is 16km from Rhethymnon, a city with a rich cultural life and a beautiful old town. The wide sandy beach with restaurants and taverns is 2km only away. The village has all necessary infrastructure such as bank, hairdresser, supermarket and restaurants. The floor offered has a floor space of 150 sqm with 2 bedrooms (a total of 5 beds), one more person can be accommodated in the area of ​​the large living room. The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, dishwasher, etc.). Telephone, internet, stereo and TV are also available. The property is also equipped with three portable stand fans, deck fans in both the bedroom and kitchen, and an air cooler to ensure a refreshing indoor environment, even on the hottest days. Stay cool and comfortable during the warmer months with a range of natural cooling options provided throughout the home.

My family's stay at the cottage was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean and mostly comfortable (although the beds were a little bit too firm for my family). The mountain and sea views were fantastic! Herbert was a kind and gracious host and was always available in case we had any concerns. He was delightful to talk to and he has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Although we were on a pre-planned schedule, he was always willing to offer a tour of surrounding areas. All in all, the stay was marvelous and we'd recommend staying there to anyone spending their holiday on Crete!

Even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures

Herbert and Elpida’s house is truly beautiful, in a lovely location in the hills overlooking the sea. The house is close to a supermarket and within walking distance of a few nice tavernas. Herbert and Elpida are lovely and generous hosts and made the stay effortless. The beach at Episkopi is perfectly nice, but there are other more beautiful spots within an easy drive. We would love to return.

Die Gastgeber haben uns einen sehr freundlichen und warmherzigen Empfang beschert, sie waren jederzeit ansprechbar. Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Rande des Dorfes mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Engagierte Vermieter in einem außergewöhnlichen Ferienhaus

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Episkopi bei Elpida und Herbert Ott. Beide sind sehr engagiert und immer bestrebt, ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Wir haben uns in der großzügigen Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage im Hinterland von Rethimnon hat uns in die Lage versetzt, Ausflüge sowohl bis Chania als auch zur Südküste zu unternehmen. Am Besten hat uns der Ort Argyroupolis (kleine Wasserfälle) ein wenig oberhalb von Episkopi gefallen. Es gibt dort auch eine empfehlenswerte Taverne "ancient Lappa". Nochmal zurück zur Wohnung: Für die heiße Jahreszeit sollte über eine Klimatisierung nachgedacht werden. Die Ventilatoren haben uns nur teilweise geholfen. Alles in Allem trotzdem ein außergewöhnlicher Urlaub bei Familie Ott. Wir kommen gerne wieder... Liebe Grüße...!

Super schöner Urlaub bei freundlichen Gastgebern

Am Rande des Ortes in mitten der Natur gelegen mit einem wahnsinns Ausblick! Die Gastgeber geben dieser traumhaften Wohnung ein großes Herz. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit bei euch! Kleiner Hinweis: es gibt mehrere Episkopi auf Kreta und hier handelt es sich um das zwischen Rethymnon und Chania (nicht das bei Heraklion wie angegeben). Oberhalb von Episkopi Beach.
