hotel room was "fine". This was "good enough" for an airport hotel. It would have been nice if little things like the bed-side lights actually worked vs the plugs loose on the floor with no plugins around... weird.

A bit away from the airport, but they did have a shuttle service (free- 4am, 5am, 540am, 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am). Otherwise it’s #55 bus or cab to the airport). Check-in 2pm, and they let us in at 130 which was great. Rooms are large, kettle and coffee (nespresso) in the room. The lighting leaves much to be desired, it’s quite low, so I hope we didn’t leave anything behind! Next door to Public Deli (restaurant and store - go for the lunch special if you’re there at that time). Didn’t partake of the hotel happy hour or their restaurant. Fine for a one night-before the-airport stay. Free parking.

Very convenient for a night stay before a morning flight out of Keflavik. Free shuttle to the airport only 10 minutes away. Shuttle and breakfast available starting at 4am.

I do understand taking the non refundable room is on us bur canceling 2 weeks in advance the hotel should refund us. Our flight was cancelled and had no way to get over to Iceland….if ever we go we will stay somewhere else.

It’s clean, not far from the airport. They do advertise “soundproof” rooms. And, that is not true at all. You can hear everything from every surrounding room, the hall, above you, below you, next to you. It’s almost as if there were no walls at all. The shuttle only goes to the airport and not from it. That’s an important distinction. There is early check in-for a fee. The “restaurant” is a refrigerator with premade food. It’s convenient for an early morning flight, just bring ear plugs.

Disappointed

The best thing I enjoy about the hotel was its distance from the airport, available Wifi and the airport bus transfer from the hotel the the airport. The hotel was quite expensive, including the breakfast. There was an almost empty, used bottled with minimum soap at the hand sink, next to the toilet, and no soap in the shower, to take a shower. The toilet seat was loose, moving from side to side, making sitting on it quite uncomfortable. I understand that everything in Iceland is expensive, but I do not think I would want to stay at this hotel again. This hotel was even more expensive than Dubai International hotel, and did not even have the basic bathroom amenity, such as soap.

Great clean hotel, there is a restaurant in the hotel and next door. But other than that there isn’t anything in walking distance. Overall would recommend. They also have free shuttles to the airport available.

We had a good stay at the Konvin Hotel. It is conveniently located near the airport with a shuttle, making it easy to get there with luggage. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the dining staff in the restaurant very friendly. The rooms were spacious and can easily accommodate a couole with 2 children. We did not have children so there was more than enough room. The hotel is about an hour from the city of Reykjavik, so explore the city before heading to the hotel. It does provide value for money spent

A great hotel with a great restaurant.

It was my second stay after I previously visited last year. Dinner was lovely in the restaurant and cooked to a high standard. Similarly breakfast buffer was very good offering a range of options. Staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were smart, clean and very well presented. Bed was very comfortable but had to ask for extra pilllows but these were quickly supplied. Coffee and tea was also supplied in the room. Shower was lovely and hot and had excellent pressure. My only gripe was the room was a bit on the cold side and appeared to have no heating. Plenty of parking and located to a relatively short distance to the airport. Would highly recommend this hotel over Hotel Berg as we had a very dissatisfied stay on our last night so wish we had booked another night here at Hotel Konvin.

The room was so dark we couldn't see anything around. l Ateast they should provide extra lighting if we want. I lost my contact lens in the bathroom and no way to find because it was so dark. No tissues or Kleenex, we paid $300 and this is what we got. the staff was friendly and tried to help, my message is to the management, please do give more light in the rooms. I had to wear my glasses after I lost my contact lens. My friends are visiting soon. Hope they will find more light in the room and bathroom.
