Convenient and bare bones - good value. Clean and comfy, small room, powerful shower and the best thing for me was the sparking water dispenser!! Felt like a bit of luxury amidst a quality, functional but somewhat austere place— perfect for the night before jetting out. I’d stay here again for sure.

So this hotel does not have staff onsite. You need to check in oinline and you will get an access code. It works perfectly fine. The rooms are clean and the listed amenities are all there. The hotel was perfect for the purpose and the cost was very reasonable compared to other options.

Incredibly clean and cozy — stayed here twice. No human interaction as they message you instructions on how to check-in, however is very smooth process. Had to call them for during my second stay for some support and they answer instantly. Highly recommend!

The sheets and bedding had small stains that might have been bloody. The hotel never sent us the door code to get into the building. We got the door code from another guest. This other guest said they also did not get the door code.

It is a clean and cozy place to stay away from the main city area. We just ran into one issue. There was someone drilling and installing a hotel sign on the outside wall all day on one of our stay days. We were not informed in advance about this install. Also, the person working on the sign kept the emergency exit door open which invited a ton of mosquitos in the hallway which eventually ended up in our room. Had to do a lot of swatting before we went to bed. Overall the place was clean and there is a Bonus market nearby at walking distance to get supplies. Definitely go to Skalli Bistro, they have amazing breaded cod fish and their burgers are amazing.

I’d recommend this place for your last night or 2 in Reykjavík, before driving back to the airport. It’s a basic room, comfortable and clean. Some things to note: 1. There is usually no staff onsite. 2. You need to register online as a guest prior to arrival. I did that while on the international flight via wifi. Provide a copy of your identification. Only then will you receive a door access code, and only on the day of your arrival, not days before. Don’t wait until you arrive at the hotel to register. You’ll be stuck in the parking lot like others I saw there. 2. The outside door has an easy to use keypad. Once inside, the door to your room lacks a visible keypad. Tap on the black plastic panel on the room door a few times and a few different ways and the hidden keypad will light up. We and another couple struggled with that at first. 3. The coffee grinder machine was sufficient, but walk across the street to Lindabakari. Great pastry selection and delicious coffee. The weather was sunny (in September) so I walked. It’s in the parking lot with the Bonus grocery store. 4. They only provided 2 medium towels. We stayed 3 nights. I contacted the management via WhatsApp, and they quickly responded that towels were onsite and available. Trying all the doors in the lobby, I found a cart of wash cloths (small), so I took some. We used our beach towels to dry off after a shower (we brought them for the thermal pools). They need to provide several large bath towel per night!
