Too expensive for what it is

Not what I expected. Too expensive for what it is. Seems like you’re doing camping instead of staying at a hotel. Beds were super small and uncomfortable.

Favorite hotel for our Iceland trip. We loved the vibe. Staff were very helpful. The back courtyard with the hot tub and sauna was very cool. If i was coming back to Iceland i would stay again.

This is a very cool place. The decor isn’t just cheap decorations. I was amazed at the quality of the furniture in the lobby and restaurant area. It is really an interesting place. If you reserve here, you need to know that the cottages are tiny. Really just a bed and loft with two twin size beds. An adult can only stand in the middle of the loft. However, the beds are comfortable. Also, the water has a slight sulfur smell which can be expected in some places in Iceland. There was construction when we were there. They started working at 8 but that was ok because we were up and going anyway. The restaurant has delicious food

I do not reccomend this place. There is not much else in the area. The standard room is very small, and the bathroom is worse. The bathroom was not well kept. Moldy grout, stain in tub, craked sink, cracked tile. The tub/shower combo was very, oddly, tall. If you are short or have any trouble with mobility, you may not be able to use it. The staff was off putting and made me feel like I was a burden for being there. The breakfast left much to be desired. Overall i was very disappointed with my stay.

The receptionist are very accommodating. The Hotel has a free breakfast buffet. The hotel also a restaurant next door. The only downside is not enough parking spot next to the hotel.
