Rhodian Gaea is a tastefully restored holiday cottage, for couples, families and friends looking for a comfortable, relaxed holiday in a peaceful, tranquil location, which offers the outmost privacy. It is located in the Butterfly Valley (in Greek ‘Petaloudes’) which is a unique nature reserve. The cottage is only a 10-minute drive from the airport and 25 minutes from Rhodes town, and just 5 minutes away from the villages of Theologos and Paradisi as well as the island’s west side beachfront.
Rhodian Gaea is an almost a century old, restored Italian farm house, which was part of a larger estate. It is equipped to cater for the holiday needs of up to 6 people and has two fully airconditioned bedrooms with double beds, a large living room with comfortable sitting areas and a double sofa bed. There is a cot available, upon request. There is also a wide range of amenities that guests will find useful during their holidays such as Wi-Fi, satellite channels, washing machine, ironing facilities and private parking. The cottage is equipped with a security alarm. Rhodian Gaea has a spacious, fully equipped SMEG kitchen with oven, hob and extractor hood, microwave, refrigerator-freezer, coffee maker and all the kitchenware needed for you to prepare and enjoy meals. There is also a bathroom with a shower. Rhodian Gaea’s outdoor space is a highlight on its own merit. It features a well-tended, one-acre garden which adds to a clear sense of seclusion together with a swimming pool equipped with sunbeds, parasols and outdoor shower. Also, there is a terrace with BBQ facilities ideal for a gathering with family and friends. Our guests are welcomed to hand-pick fresh fruits and vegetables from the 4-acre allotment right next to the cottage.
Supermarkets, restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars, banks and ATMs, pharmacies, petrol station, children’s playgrounds, car and motorbike rentals can be found within a few minutes’ drive from the cottage in the neighbouring villages of Theologos, Paradisi and Kremasti. The location of the cottage is an ideal base to explore the island of Rhodes and car hire is an excellent idea for those who want to make the most of their time on the island. There is also a bus stop right outside the cottage. Diagoras International airport is ten minutes away by car.
