Villa Caterina has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, while providing the perfect base for touring the fascinating island of Rhodes. The clear waters of the Mediterranean are only a short stroll away (approx 200m) at Vlicha beach, and the tavernas and mini-market nearby mean that a car is not essential. Inside the villa its light and airy air conditioned accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area. Two bedrooms are upstairs and each has their own balcony for you to sit and relax and soak up the views across the sea, while the downstairs bedroom opens on to the patio area, with its seating area for enjoying the view. Outside, the swimming pool and large patio with dining and seating areas, as well as a barbecue, are all designed to ensure that wherever you choose to relax at Villa Caterina you can gaze across the Mediterranean.
The villa is well placed for exploring the island of Rhodes, and the beautiful, ancient, town of Lindos is only 5 minutes away by car.

Super séjour à Lindos

La villa est très agréable , climatisée , très peu de vis-a-vis , avec une vue sur la mer et une très belle piscine . Elle est proche de la plage , de restaurant et d un supermarché ... et l endroit reste calme . Tout est fait pour que le séjour soit agréable . Nous sommes venus à Lindos pour nous marier ... et cet endroit était à la hauteur de nos attentes !

Lovely but in need of some attention

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at Villa Caterina in August. The resort was quiet which we enjoyed. The setting was beautiful with ocean views and the local area gave us everything we needed for a relaxing week in the sun. The two restaurants at the bottom of the road were fantastic. Before arrival all communication with our hosts was great, thank you Martin and Catherine. We found the property to be comfortable but in need of repairs, particularly in the bathroom and around the pool. It was also a surprise to find the the properties either side were empty and falling into disrepair. This made it even quieter which was not a problem and we enjoyed the daily goat visits! Overall we had a lovely holiday.

Fabulous holiday

This was a lovely villa. It was up a hill from the small beach area and restaurants but that meant you had a lovely view of the sea from the pool and the bedrooms. The owners provided a lot of information before we arrived that was really helpful, and the lady who looked after the villa here was so helpful and answered all messages really quickly. A great experience for us, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely stay!

The villa was perfect. Close by to several restaurants and small supermarkets and a couple of minutes walk to the beach it was a great location. We enjoyed the pool so much and the villa was perfectly set up for the 7 of us. Not too far from a bus stop with direct buses to Rhodes and Lindos made for the perfect base to explore.

Perfect location

We had the most wonderful week in Rhodes with our two boys 12 and 14 staying at villa Catarina. The location of the villa was perfect for our needs. Just 5 minutes in the car from Lindos and three minutes walk to the lovely beach we couldn’t have asked for more. Whist we felt the upholstery in the villa was tired and could do with an update, the villa was lovely and clean and well maintained. The bed sheets were like a 5star hotel. Our boys played endlessly in the great sized pool which was checked twice by the pool man. The area out side had the sun for morning coffee and sunset drinks. What a lovely place.

Fantastic Property

We had an amazing stay at the property. Communication from Martin and Catherine could not have been better. Amazing location, really quiet, very short walk to the beach, two fantastic restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. Pool was kept really clean, great views from the pool area over the sea. The only slight negative is we felt the property was a little tired in comparison to the photos but this in no way impacted on how amazing our holiday was at the Villa. We had an amazing holiday at the property, great for families, would highly recommend it and would come back again.

Lovely stay

We recently stayed at this Villa. It was perfect for our family. 100M from the beach, small supermarket and 2 restaurants. Also 5 minutes drive from the amazing Lindos. So very convenient for families. The Villa was perfect as well. All as per the Vrbo description. Parking is a problem however. AC's in all rooms. Kitchen is fully equipped. Hosts very supportive and attentive. So overall a lovely experience and I would highly recommend this Villa.

Idyllic haven in beautiful Rhodes

We have just returned from the most beautiful, peaceful and wonderful time at Villa Caterina! Stunning location! Fabulous quiet beach three minutes walk from the villa. Yoga on the beach and sea swim every morning with no one else to be seen! Quiet, friendly bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk and stunning scenery of Lindos and St Paul’s Bay a mere 10/15 mins in the car!! If you are looking for a peaceful, recuperative holiday I would thoroughly recommend this. Home from home the villa is fully equipped and really comfortable. Totally loved the Banana Bar!! Absolutely wonderful, thank you so very much Martin and Catherine. xxxx

Fantastic villa, perfect location

The villa was great, comfortable beds, clean and equipped well. The pool was great and the beach a few minutes walk away with a gentle slope to a sandy bottomed sea. The location for us was perfect; quiet, with a few good restaurants minutes away. Would thoroughly recommend for a family stay.

Fabulous location!

We spent 9 nights at Villa Caterina and we had an amazing time. The villa is situated overlooking Vlicha beach and has stunning views from the pool area and the balconies. The beach is a 5 minute walk down a slope but it's really not that difficult to walk back up. It might be an issue for someone with mobility issues though. There is a handy, small supermarket on the beach for essentials, and a larger supermarket less than a 10 minute drive away. The beach is lovely and very quiet, but if you want a busier one there are many amazing beaches all around the island. The closest are Lindos beach and St Paul's Bay which is one of the most beautiful coves you could ever hope to see. The town of Lindos is stunning. White washed buildings full of narrow, winding streets packed with cute little shops and tons of restaurants, many with roof terraces. Personally I would say a car is essential to get around the island. Don't miss St Paul's Bay, the Butterfly Valley, Kallithea Springs or Rhodes old town. All great places to visit. In summary, we fell in love with the island of Rhodes and after driving around it for 9 days we didn't find anywhere we would rather have stayed. This villa is very highly recommended.

The set up of the Villa is beautiful , unfortunately the cleanliness was an issue . Maybe the owners are unaware . Everything you need there though . The side gate kept opening , and there were lots of weeds and grass by the pool . My curtains were hanging off the rail . Bathrooms need cleansing . Stains on sofa , broken toys around pool area I’m so sorry to write this , but feel it needs the attention , due to the pricing of this Villa

Fantastic holiday in Vlycha bay, Rhodes

All 6 family members aged 1.5 to 60.5 years thought the house and the view were amazing. We also liked the area, Vlycha bay. The host was very helpful, answered all our questions and gave good information with directions and access to the house. We had the opportunity to check out later on the day of departure when the flight departed in the evening, extra nice was the welcome pack of groceries waiting in the house when we arrived. The house was very well located in the area, about 5 minutes walk to the beach. At Vlycha beach there was a beach café recommended for drinks and lunch. Smaller supermercado can be found within 5 minutes walking distance and several nice restaurants belonging to different hotels in the area. In conclusion, we can warmly recommend both the house and the area, Vlycha bay

Anniversary vacation

We had a great time in Rhodes and coming back at night to the villa to hang out at the pool and watch the sun set off the porch. Thank you for the goodies when we arrived. The house has plenty of amenities, we had everything we needed. We happened to be there when it was very hot 90 degrees and 70-80% humidity and the only downfall was that we did have to remove the key that provided the electricity for the AC unit so the home was fairly hot when we would return home and take awhile to cool down even with all the shutter closed. Other than that a great location and beautiful place.

We, a family of 5, stayed at Villa Caterina, in July 21. The villa is well equiped, has plenty of room and an awesome pool! In just 3 minutes you walk onto a child-friendly beach for a swim in the sea. We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Caterina. I fully recommend a stay here.

Beautiful villa and location

Just back from a fabulous week with our daughters and their partners. The villa is beautiful and well equipped for every age. The setting is spectacular and close to good restaurants and a very buoyant sea although we spent a lot of afternoons around the pool (so pretty). Lindos is a quick taxi drive away. I wish we had booked 2 weeks and would definitely recommend this villa for a stay in Rhodes. Love the bougainvillea and growing water melons !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Catrina and found it spacious, well appointed in a good location and made a great base for the Lindos area. We felt the cleanliness of the property could have been better however, bathrooms mostly and the coach/bed in the living area was stained. The air con in the living room was not quite adequate especially as there were two of the party sleeping in here. An automatic change in towels and bedding at least once and a quick clean through the week by a cleaner would avoid guests feeling as they need to keep on top of this. The bougainvillea though lovely was also messy as it required a thorough sweep of the outside twice daily to keep the property looking tidy and did need a good clipping back . One of the Sun Brollies was also torn and would not stay up when breezy and a couple of outside chairs were worn. We would also suggest you recommend to guests when booking a taxi, they order this to the`Lindian Jewel` as non of the taxi`s we ordered came to the Villa or new where it was. We left the villa clean neat and tidy on our departure . I am of course bringing to your attention minor points that did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay nor our wish to revisit Lindos in the future. Best wishes Alex Hoodless and family

Amazing villa in a fantastic location!

Villa was perfect: beautifully maintained, with loads of crockery and pans in the kitchen, lots of games and books, and a fantastic pool which was cleaned twice a week. Everything was in perfect order and the bedrooms, living area, pool and outside seating were all even nicer we were expecting! Hope to be back again one day!

Absolutely lovely

We chose this property on the basis of its good reviews, and weren't disappointed. The views are wonderful, and the outside area is gorgeous. It was very hot, but the air conditioning was excellent. The villa was a bit hit with all three generations in our group and we would certainly return. We think a car is essential to see something of the island - we pre-booked with Rodos Cars and picked the vehicle up at the airport.
