Family friendly Self Catering House With Stunning Sea Views. 5mins from beach.

This semi detached house is located in the hills of Santa Maria and is finished to a very high standard - from floor to ceiling wardrobes to Orthopaedic mattresses - everything you need to make your stay comfortable has been looked after.

This beautiful 3 bedroomed house, has a double bed in the main two rooms with 2 single beds - that can be pushed together in the 3rd bedroom. In the living/dining we also have 1 double sofa bed. The villa is approx 85 sqm.

This year we have built an outside terrace that more than doubles the outside space. The new space is excellent for sunbathing and using our new BBQ/Smoker.

The house in Santa Maria is just a 10min walk to the beach, with a short 5min drive to Groticelli Beach.

The pool is open from 1st June - 30th September.

Grocery pack is available for 40 euro on request and includes basics such as bread, milk, juice, eggs, wine (or your preference). Payable on arrival.

Also supplied at the villa, we have provided a very helpful manual outlining details of scenic places to visit, local restaurants, plus important contact numbers in case of emergency.

English-speaking representative knowledgeable on the area and local activities on hand to answer any questions.

Local Taxi service available in the locality of the complex.

Le check in est à partir de 16h mais la techniciene de surface etant présente, nous avons pu faire le check in que vers 17h10. Dans la maison. Il y a des choses à améliorer par ex la planche des wc était cassee , ils l ont recollé avec du gros scotch , pas trÚs hygiénique. Petite odeur dans la salle de bain , les oreillers avaient des tùches La climatisation est appréciable . La vue sur la mer n est pas top , on voit la mer au loin . Il faut savoir qu il y a 2 sites pour la residence et nous étions dans la 2 eme partie . Nous devons traverser une petite rue pour aller dans l autre résidence afin d accéder à la piscine . La piscine est sympa , de belle taille. L emplacement est bien pour visiter .

Solid option for costa degli dei

Functional apartment with sea view and patio. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals. Comfortable mattresses and a fabulous pool area were the highlights for us. Great location to visit spectacular beaches and very responsive owner and property manager. The property has one single AC unit in the kitchen. But it is sufficient to efficiently cool down the entire home. The internet is fast and stable. Thanks Jason for a great vacation.

Ricadi Bella

We spent 8 Days in Ricadi and loved every day. Peter was great with helping us with all our queries including local restaurants and even helping us set up our wifi. The house has a TV which has over 50000 movies and all channels from around the world. Annamaria was very helpful also, although she only spoke Italian (lucky for me im Italian), Google translate would be necessary; she was very hospitable and was always there if we needed anything or had questions. The property was pretty central to all the beautiful beaches including Tropea and Capo Vaticano, Ricadi beach is also a hidden treasure. If you do stay here please go to bar pizzeria Ristorante Paradise just up the road, great food and very well priced. Thank you Peter, Annamaria and Angelo

Holiday in Santa Maria

Nice pool and quiet location. Helpful staff onsite and easy to access the beach and also local towns. Getting around is easy by car. Day trips to Tropea and Pizzo also in easy reach where you can find a great selection of restaurants.

SanitÀre Installation schlecht gewartet

Ankunft Samstag Nachmittag Betreuung OK. Objekt mit Raumeinteilung fĂŒr 5 Personen optimal mit 2 Badezimmer. Nicht positiv war unter anderem: -Parkplatz Grösse, wenn ich fĂŒr 5 Personen buche fahre ich nicht mit Kleinwagen. Platz zu klein. -Zu Beginn kein Internet konnten selbst herausfinden wie das Ganze funktioniert - katastrophale sanitĂ€re Installationen wie nur tropfende Dusche, kaum richtiger Wasserstrahl, zu wenig Wasser. -stark beschmutzte Liege im Aufenthaltsbereich -Waschmaschiene rann und verlor Wasser im ganzen Appartement. Mussten alles selber aufwischen. Q (Ersatz fĂŒr andere Maschiene wurde organisiert innerhalb 24h) Top Leistung. -2 Tage spĂ€ter im anderen Badezimmer Toiletten SpĂŒhlkasten defekt mit erneuter Überschwemmung. Selbst Reinigung. Meine Erwartungen waren demzufolge absolut nicht erfĂŒllt. Nach mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme mit Peter in Irland, sehr unhöflich Kommentare seinerseits, werde ich absolut keine Werbung fĂŒr ihre Organisation weitergeben. Fotomaterial vorhanden. Ich erwarte eine Stellungnahme und erwarte eine finanzielle EntschĂ€digung. Das war der Preis absolut nicht wert. Mit freundlichen GrĂŒssen

Sehr schöner Urlaub ...

Das Ferienhaus entspricht der Beschreibung und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was notwendig ist! Kleiner Tipp fĂŒr die KĂŒche: eine große Pfanne wĂ€re super! FĂŒr 4 Personen haben wir uns da schwer getan. In der Anlage wird der MĂŒll getrennt, was wir sehr begrĂŒĂŸt haben, aber ringsum in der ganzen Gegend wird der Großteil auf der Straße entsorgt. FĂŒr uns in der heutigen Zeit leider nicht nachvollziehbar! :-( Die 10 Minuten zum Strand sind nicht zu schaffen, außer man legt den Weg im Eiltempo zurĂŒck, was bei 30 Grad keinen Spaß macht. Es geht wirklich steil bergab und dann leider auch wieder hoch. Der Strand vor Ort war jetzt in der Hochsaison dicht besiedelt. Wir haben unseren Traumstrand in Zambrone gefunden und dafĂŒr eine 30-minĂŒtige Fahrt in Kauf genommen. Das Meer ist wirklich traumhaft! Auch der Pool, der zur Anlage gehört ist sehr angenehm, um sich zwischendurch mal abzukĂŒhlen und der kurze Weg ĂŒber die Straße kann in Badekleidung zurĂŒck gelegt werden. Die Dame vor Ort, die sich um die GĂ€ste kĂŒmmert, ist fabelhaft! Sie ist sehr bemĂŒht, kĂŒmmert sich sofort um alles und ist dazu noch sehr witzig und weiß viel ĂŒber die Gegend zu erzĂ€hlen. Es hat immer Spaß gemacht, sie zu sehen! Herzlichen Dank nochmal dafĂŒr an Patricia! SupermĂ€rkte und Restaurants sind in der NĂ€he vorhanden, aber ein Auto ist trotzdem zu empfehlen. Ein Pluspunkt ist hier auch die Abstellmöglichkeit in der Anlage mit gesicherter Zufahrt! Alles in allem ein erholsamer, schöner Urlaub!

villa a schiera e non singola, piu' piccola di quanto non fatto apparire, con un problema importante di odori di scarico fognario sul secondo bagno, fatto costruire successivamente in una delle camere matrimoniali, dovuto ad errore d'impostazione dell' impianto, con poca pendenza e senza presa d'aria sulla colonna principale per migliorare il deflusso dei liquidi.

Beautiful spot on the hills with 5 individual houses. Appartement building along the pool side. Beaches are close. Families were around and welcome. House had everything needed. Patricia was looking after us in a very nice way. See you again in the near future.

What you see is what you get

Overall we're very pleased with our stay in Santa Maria di Ricadi with our children (aged 3 to 7). The description and pictures of the house match well with real life: The interior is recently refurbished and in very good condition. Things we appreciated: - The spaceous common pool area, which includes a section for toddlers. During our stay there was rarely more than 2-3 families at the pool simultaneously. - The helpfullness of the local manager (who handles key hand-over e.t.c.) - The small lawn in front of the house where the kids could play - The quiet location - The dish washer - The two sun umbrellas we could bring to the beach Good to know things: - The pool area is located across the street (still within "swim-suit walking" distance) - The hill down to the beach is steep, don't count on being able to walk uphill in the summer heat. So, anything negative? Only minor details: low water pressure in the taps and shower, poor garbage handling (not specific for this house but a general problem for the region) and a vitroceramic stove with very un-intuitive touch buttons that took a while to understand.
