This place has so much potential, but sorry to say it falls short- very short! Our biggest problem with this rental was the overall lack of cleanliness and the misrepresentation of the unit. The pictures and the listed description absolutely do not truthfully represent the unit. It looked abandoned. Cobwebs everywhere, the outside cushions were all damp, moldy, and smelly. Tiki bar full of junk that was damp, moldy and full of cobwebs. The pathway lights down to the dock are ripped out and thrown in a pile in the yard. Firewood by fire pit uncovered, wet and unusable. The AC in the unit is a very small portable AC that leaked water everywhere. The house AC can be turned on, but you will not have access. We had to buy a fan. The bed is propped up with a book. The refrigerator was filthy and top covered in dead bugs. Cheap charcoal grill, but that didn't matter because the "dishes & utensils" consisted of 2 cups,1 glass, 1 fork and wood coffee stirrers! There's no table in unit or on patio where you could sit and eat. Wanted to grill some burgers-that wasn't going to happen Pictures show a drip coffee maker on a coffee bar- that's gone. There is small Keurig. John offered refund, but held money until I agreed to not leave negative review. This is a honest true review. Unfortunately we had a negative experience. The view is amazing though, such a shame that a little TLC isn't given. The condition of this rental does not match the price that it is being rented for.
