Had it not been for the horrible customer service, I would have given a much better rating. I booked a king bed suite but was give a room with two queen beds. When I went back to the front desk, the gentleman was nothing short of rude and disrespectful. No apologies, no explanation other than the rooms were on a “first come first serve basis” and that’s “just how it is”. The hotel was very clean and had a nice breakfast. Again, I would have given a better rating but they certainly need to train their staff better on how to treat their guests. I can’t say enough how much the lack of consideration and respect for guests was, it really soured our stay. And we never did get the king bed suite that we booked months in advance. Very disappointing

I was impressed with every aspect of our stay. The hotel was beautiful, bright, and clean. The rooms were large and well appointed. The morning breakfast offered a wide range of choices. It will definitely be my go-to when visiting my daughter in Richmond!

Richmond is a pretty quiet town and a college town, so the only things we saw that you can really do is drink. If there was something we missed about it that would be unfortunate, but the local food was pretty great and they had several common restaurant chains if you aren’t looking for something state/richmond specific. The mall is also lacking which was sad to see. The hotel itself was also really nice and cozy. We didn’t have any issues checking in or out.

Breakfast semi ok. Mostly standard. Coffee not ao great. Blueberries to use in waffles, nice but chewy, probably frozen. Juice option was only in a pull type cup. Room was nice and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
