Margaret's Cottage is a traditional stone-built, mid-terraced cottage in the small village of Low Row in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the village of Reeth. Comprising one double bedroom, one twin, and a family bathroom, this cottage is suitable for four people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer on request, a dining area, and a sitting room with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. Outside the cottage, there is a terraced garden to the front with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as off-road parking for one car. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels are included in rent. One well-behaved dog welcome. You'll find a shop in 3.6 miles and pub in 3.3 miles. Sorry, no smoking. Being so well located, Margaret's Cottage is the perfect base for a family wishing to explore all of the delights of this part of the Yorkshire Dales. The Neighborhood:
A scattering of traditional farms and cottages make up the village of Low Row situated to the north of the River Swale. The village of Reeth just a short drive away dates back to Saxon times and became of sufficient size and importance to be mentioned in the Domesday Book. Its eighteenth-century houses and hotel clustered around the triangular village green make it one of the very popular Dales villages. Askrigg better known to millions as Darrowby in TV's James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small" is just a short drive away as well as Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force (England's highest single drop waterfall at 99ft).
