Tru is always a nice place to stay. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast food. The rooms are comfortable and clean. You can log into your streaming apps on the tv. And it logs you out when you check out. I sta at Tru hotels when I can.

I arrived on the wrong date. They were gracious but unfortunately didn't have a spare room. They went out of their way to help me find a hotel for the evening. I will definitely come back on the correct date because of their kindness.

I checked in a little after 11 pm. The room we were placed in wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest’s stay. The bed was not made up, dirty towels on the bathroom floor and trash in the room. I notified the front desk clerk who was walking past the room. She said that she would get it handled. 30 mins goes past and we still hadn’t been placed in another room. Called to the front desk, she said she had a customer in front of her. Finally, 20 mins later, she called and stated that she had another room available. We don’t get settled into the new room until after 1 am. Housekeeping was knocking on the door at 10 am, checkout is at 11 am. I told them to give me an min to get myself together, they were knocking again 15 mins later, no exaggeration. Other than that, the hotel is very nice. The breakfast was good.

Because of crazy weather conditions in the south my work travel plans got changed last week. I called Expedia first and they told me to call the hotel. I spoke with someone at the hotel and said I would be in for one night instead of tonight. After a seven minute wait on hold and me calling back Only for the attendant to tell me she forgot I was on hold, she told me she may be adjustment and I would have no problem chipping in on Thursday night instead of Wednesday. I hung up the phone but having dealt with Expedia before and hotels I didn’t feel completely comfortable. I’m not blaming Expedia but I know from a hotel perspective that they’re limited in what they can do when it’s a third-party reservation. But the girl gave me her name and I felt confident that it was OK. Here comes Thursday night after a full day of travel a flat tire along the road a tire alignment and a long day of work I arrive at the hotel only to find out I don’t have a reservation. So now not only have I paid for tonight but now I’m paying for one again. The attendant that was working the desk was horrible. She was rude and even when I told her who I spoke to the day before, she said well you don’t have a reservation. I provided my confirmation number and she said oh that was canceled. I said was a refund refunded she told me she didn’t know but it wasn’t. I understand the cancellation policy but I also understand whether prohibited travel and concessions have to be made

I stayed in Valentine’s Day and checked out the next day they held 132 on my car for incidentals and never received my funds back. Called and spoke with Cynthia and she was no help even rude it’s been a month now I still don’t have my money refunded. They are keeping peoples incidental fees don’t stay
