Les Coumayres consists of four rustic, unique, newly renovated gites. Your children will enjoy exploring the secret passage that connects three of the gites! There's a huge banquet room in the largest gite, with a table to seat twenty people and cosy fireplace to keep you warm in the winter. The house is well suited to accommodating large groups, especially families who want their own spaces yet a large room to spend time together for meals and evenings. The children are free to explore the grounds, which include playground, heated pool, terraces, tree platform, waterfall and numerous tracks. It's a true paradise for children and adults to unwind away from the stress of modern life, surrounded by rugged and beautiful nature.
Each rustic gite has their own bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining spaces, kitchen and outdoor terrace including outdoor furniture, along with a cosy wood burner and electric heating in most rooms. Gite Les Cathares has a large room where you can eat together. Or if the weather is good there are outdoor tables to seat up to twenty people and wonderful stone BBQ. There are numerous terraces, all of which are lit in the evening which provides a magical atmosphere. You can relax watching the sunset on our outdoor sofas and be surrounded by wild and beautiful nature. In summer the heated pool is securely gated and provides a paradise to relax and have fun. Parents can sunbath while their children explore the adventure playground safely within view of the pool. The playground consists of wood climbing frame, large mesh swing, slide and trampoline. We also have a Glamping site with two domes, each accommodating up to four people with private kitchen and bathroom. If you need further accommodation please just ask! The domes have incredible panoramic views across the valley and provide unique accommodation under the stars. Les Coumayres has everything for a relaxed and stress free get together of friends, families or colleagues. The area has so much to offer, from kayaking, hiking through gorges, canyoning, zip lining or mediaeval villages with excellent local markets and restaurants.
