Welcome to this Old Charm Craftsman-style home located in a historic neighborhood in Downtown Riverside, a few blocks walking distance to the famous Mission Inn, a historical landmark hotel. Lots of history in the area. This home is for those guests who prefer an elegant stay or have a special someone they would like to impress. For those wishing to celebrate a special occasion (ie wedding, baby shower, parents visiting, etc), you are in the right place. Home Sweet Home!

As you walk into this 2 story gem, you will walk into the foyer of this home with a beautiful chandelier and access to the living room and another entrance to the dining room. This historic charm has an open floor plan with high ceilings, new wood floors tall living room windows that give it the old southern feel.

As you walk into the living room you will notice the chandelier above the table and a feeling of wanting to entertain family and friends. Enjoy your mornings on our breakfast area island adjacent to the beautifully decorated large kitchen with brand new cabinets and quartz to keep those family/friends gatherings going.

Each bedroom has its own individual air conditioning unit to keep you nice and cool during these hot summer days.

Great spot.

This is our second time staying here. Both times we stayed for a week and a half. Very nice. Spacious and clean. Short walk to all the action downtown. Perfect combonation of old house with modern appliances and convenience. Missy is a very gracious and communicative host.

Nice older house near downtown Riverside

A comfortable old house with four beds and a couch. Tall people be careful on the stairs. Jacuzzi is a nice touch. Nice kitchen, family area, and dining table.

Short Holiday Stay

The location is excellent, it is located close to downtown and all the restaurants and museums. The house was clean, full of amenities like unusual coffee for the Keurig, like Blueberry pie. The check in process was easy, the check out process also easy. We didn't use the jacuzzi or the firepit, but the backyard looked great. The house does not have central heating, but the downstairs had a wall heater and our room (downstairs) had its own oscillating heater. It wasn't an issue, even in winter. If you are checking out on Thursday, but not staying, be sure to get the garbage to the curb early, as the neighbors will check to make sure it has been done. Very good find.

UC Riverside Graduation

9 family members gathered for 3 nights from across the nation to celebrate the youngest sibling. The house accommodated everyone nicely with great outdoor spaces as well. Kitchen was lacking a few items for cooking but we managed. Visit the the Mission Inn while there! Worth seeing!

The house is old, but charming. We walked down 6th street right to the Mission Inn, which was convenient. Outdoor space is charming as well. Farmer's Market in Riverside was amazing! I would recommend Missy's place if you're there to hang out in downtown Riverside for sure!

Family Trip

There were four of us. My sister, her husband, my husband and myself. We loved the location. The home was clean and the owner responded to questions quickly. I would recommend this home. We did a couple day trips and a couple meals at the Mission Inn. This is the third time we’ve traveled to California together. This is the first time we stayed at this home. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and clean

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the location because we could walk to town. It handled our group easily with plenty of space. We were an older group, 62-87 years old so the stairs were a bit challenging for those of us who stayed upstairs. It was also a little awkward that we parked in back but had to come and go from the front door. But overall it was a nice property and very reasonable compared to most of the downtown hotels. The hostess was very responsive to all of our questions.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this property. As others have mentioned, it is a very clean property with all of the important household items. We did sleep on the new mattress downstairs and found it to be lovely. We took several walks to the Mission Inn area to look at all the holiday lights. Very beautiful if you decide to go. The house has lots of character and fit our group of 7 quite well. It was a great price and a great location!

Cal Baptist University Parent-Family Weekend 2023

We had a wonderful stay in Riverside. It was nice to be only 10 minutes away from school. The area was nice & housed everyone. It is a sweet, vintage home with everything you need nearby. Missy was great & communicated with us. She answered all of our questions promptly. Missy was a gracious host.
