The apartment is located on the ground floor on the south-east side of the house. It is the most private apartment as it is the only one on this side of the house. The apartment is composed as follows: Independent entrance, living room with built-in kitchen and sofa bed (1 and a half square), 1 bedroom with double bed and a single bed, bathroom with shower. In front of the entrance there is a large private area with a table, deck chairs and umbrella where you can eat outside or sunbathe.
In a panoramic position, just 4 km from Roccastrada, Agriturismo Poggio Macinaio offers you a stay in the quiet of nature. We are located between the provinces of Grosseto and Siena immersed in the beautiful landscape of the Tuscan Maremma. All around the house, ancient oaks, olive trees, lots of space and tranquility, ideal to regenerate from the hectic life of today. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view up to Mount Amiata.

The nearest village is Roccastrada, 4 km away. We are in the upper Tuscan Maremma, in
strategic position to easily reach (30-40 cars), Siena, Monte Amiata, Pienza and the Crete Senesi, in addition to the most beautiful beaches of the Maremma as Castiglione, Follonica, Alberese.
A few miles we find:
The Terme di Petriolo (43 ° sulfur waters with free access to the pools)
The Farma river nature reserve.
The Canaloni on the river Farma, an ideal place for baths and dips.
Massa Marittima and the Accesa lake with spring water.
There are countless paths for trekking and mountain biking
along paths that connect ruins of old castles, parishes and medieval villages.

Appréciation séjour mai 2025

Nous ĂȘtions Ă  50km de Sienne et Ă  50 km de Follonica en bord de mer. RĂ©gion de la Maremme magnifique avec oliviers et vignes. Le gite plain pied est sur une colline plantee d'oliviers. Les propriĂ©taires sont formidables. Nous avons sillonnĂ© les routes environnantes en vĂ©lo Ă©lectrique et aussi le bord de mer qui comporte une longue piste idĂ©ale pour le vĂ©lo. Les villages perchĂ©s sont trĂšs beaux

Wir haben sehr gemĂŒtliche 3 Wochen im ostseitigen Appartment verbracht. Morgens scheint die Sonne in die Zimmer. Ende Oktober und die ersten beiden Wochen im November konnten wir immer wieder auf dem Tisch im Freien Mittagessen. Den herrlichen Kamin haben wir bei Sonnenuntergang angeheizt. Graziella hatte neues Olivenöl und vielfĂ€ltiges GemĂŒse aus ihrem Garten anzubieten, Wein eines benachbarten Weinguts war auch vorrĂ€tig. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und mit grossartiger Aussicht gesegnet. Vom Haus weg haben wir zahlreiche Wanderungen durch die bewaldete HĂŒgellandschaft unternommen. Sie fĂŒhlten uns wie daheim und doch weit fort.

Eine wunderschöne WohlfĂŒhl-Oase

Wer seine Seele baumeln lassen möchte, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Man hat unendlich viel Platz, um sich auszubreiten oder je nach Stand der Sonne sich einen neuen Panoramablick zu suchen. Das Innere des Hauses ist zweckdienlich aber gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet mit sehr viel Liebe fĂŒr das Detail und sehr großem handwerklichen Geschick. Der Pool ist Ă€ußerst sauber, das Wasser ist klar und lĂ€dt permanent zur AbkĂŒhlung ein. Wir waren Ende Mai da und hatten viel Sonne und angenehme Temperaturen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, ihr Olivenöl aus eigenen, manuell gelesenen Oliven ist mild und sehr lecker und auch der rote und weiße Wein hat uns gut geschmeckt, sogar noch zuhause! Wir haben uns Ă€ußerst wohl und aufgehoben gefĂŒhlt und wĂŒrden wiederkommen, wenn es uns das nĂ€chste Mal in die Toskana zieht.

Wer totale Ruhe sucht, ist hier am rechten Ort!

Von der Zivilisation völlig abgeschirmt, bietet dieses sehr schön renovierte Bauernhaus eine völlig ruhige und entschleunigende Bleibe fĂŒr einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die drei Ferienwohnungen sind gut eingerichtet und bieten viel Platz. Rund ums Haus ist viel Raum und der kleine Pool ist fĂŒr eine willkommene Erfrischung ideal. Die Gutsinhaberin Grazielle (spricht auch deutsch und französisch ) ist zusammen mit ihren Mann eine umsichtige und gute Gastgeberin.umsichtige

Wunderschön gelegen und ruhig ohne viel chichi

Wir hatten wunderschöne Ferien in dieser Ferienwohnung. Wer Ruhe, Natur und Landschaft liebt, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Die Gastgeber sind super-lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung ist wie angegeben sehr einfach gehalten, aber alles ist sauber und vermißt haben wir nur einen Backofen. Der Pool war in der Hitzewelle 2024 eine Wohltat und gerade fĂŒr Kinder top! Das Haus liegt in Alleinlage mit dem tollsten Ausblick und phantastischem Sternenhimmel. Auto ist Bedingung und die Anfahrt, vor allem beim ersten Mal ist ein wenig tricky - vorher mal auf den Plan schauen und dem Navi nicht blind vertrauen. Unbedingt von SĂŒden her kommen und nicht von Roccastrada runter fahren. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen.Kauft unbedingt Olivenöl bei den Gastgebern und fahrt auch mal zum Strand :-)

Sehr schön

Wir haben den Urlaub (die letzten beiden Septemberwochen) sehr genossen und kennen wenige Urlaubsgegenden die einen eine solche FĂŒlle an Möglichkeiten bieten: Kultur (z.B. Siena und Florenz), Strand (z.B. Marina de Albarese, Punta Ala, Cala Violina), Wandern (z.B. Maremma oder Merse Tal), warme Thermen und Fauna (z.B. Stachelschweine, Eulen, FĂŒchse...). Die absolute Ruhe, den tollen Blick und den fantastischen Sternenhimmel bekommt man obendrein. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Objekt nur wĂ€rmstens empfehlen. Ein Auto ist ein Muss.

Schöne Unterkunft, freundlicher und guter Service, ruhige Umgebung und erfrischender Pool! Der Ostseite könnte man mehr Schatten spenden und MĂŒckenschutz am Fenster wĂ€re hilfreich. Ansonsten eine angenehme Oase und sehr sympathische Gastgeber!

Splendida location soggiorno nell' appartamento Sud.

Bel casolare situato in mezzo alla Maremma. La strada la sconsiglio a chi ha macchine con assetto essendo parecchio tortuosa ma una volta arrivati regna pace e tranquillitĂ . Gentilissima la sig. Graziella e buona pulizia dell'appartamento. Sfortunatamente abbiamo soggiornato in un periodo di estremo caldo e ariditĂ  per cui le notti sono risultate molto calde. La posizione Ăš strategica sia per le mete marine che per quelle turistiche di massa. Un solo consiglio ai gentilissimi host una zanzariera nella finestra della camera consentirebbe di tenerla aperta la notte a chi come noi non Ăš abituato all' aperta campagna. E comunque vi ringraziamo per averci ospitato. Andrea Michela e Nicola.

A little pearl in southern Tuscany

The house is situated on a little hill. The view from there is amazing. every day a spectaculair sunrise and sunset. The 2km offroad is a little bit bumpy but every car is able to take that road. To sit in the garden around the house is very nice, you really see you're surrounded by nature and you get in touch with the slow rhythm of Tuscany. When the sun is out there you can make use of several shadow places around the house and under the trees. The apartment is good and has everything what you need to feel comfortable. The hosts Graziella and Leonello are so kind and will provide you from all the information that you need and you can always ask them for any help. They rebuild this place into a lovely residence with Italian roots. The swimmingpool in the garden is much bigger then we thought, its around 40m2 and the hosts maintain the pool very well.
