Great place for a family gathering. This is our second time at this home. Fully stocked kitchen, large great room, close to the beach for walks and fishing. Open the sliding doors to a large deck with great outdoor furniture and enjoy the sea air and listen to the waves.

Great Location and perfectly set up for multiple people

We had a great time staying here; it’s location to the beach was just right to run back when necessary. The pool and hot tub was great as was the outdoor seating options for views of sunrise and sunset. We had a couple of issues that were quickly and agreeably handled by both property manager and owner. I’d stay here again.

Perfect location, we hope to be back!

We loved the house! It was an easy walk to the beach, and the pool and hot tub were such a great bonus! Rodanthe is quieter than the towns farther north, which we loved. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I was surprised to find out that there would be no towels for us, and Vino kindly had some brought over the same day. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon! Thank you!

First vacation with all the grandkids/cousins together

This was our first family trip since my siblings and I have had kids. Our parents and one grandparent were able to come so we had 4 generations in one house which was super special. The house exceeded our expectations. I’m OCD about cleanliness and was pleasantly surprised with how neat and clean it was. Vino is very easy to communicate with. We hope to be back very soon!

Summer Family Vacation

The house is just as advertised. Three houses back from the ocean. Great location! Tons of outdoor seating. Great pool area. Everything was very clean in communication with the owner was excellent! They had all the utensils you needed. The game room could use an upgrade, but overall we would stay again. I had a fantastic time!

Great vacation

We spent another wonderful week at the Carolina Breeze. From the beautiful sunrises, just a short walk to the beach to the sunsets , it was very relaxing. After a day on the beach coming back to the pool is refreshing. Following dinner it's just a short walk to the end of the road for ice cream. Our family has been coming to the OBX and staying at the Carolina Breeze for years. We hope to continue for years to come. It's a home away from home. the Wood Family.

Rodanthe vacation

Great location, beach just a quick walk away. Pool and hot tub were a huge bonus. The kids loved riding their bikes down the road, so being on a cul-de-sac was really nice. Having bathrooms in almost every room was great! The house needs a little TLC and a good deep clean. Linens were clean. Some spindles on the decks were lose/not attached and torn screen, a bit worrisome but the owner said he would address the issues. Overall we had a great vacation!!

Family Getaway

This place was absolutely perfect. We were able to have family gather together from NH, MD, and NC. It was a blessing. By the time it was time to go home, it felt like home and we didn't want to leave. Beautifully situated between the ocean front and the sound side, you were able to watch beautiful sunrises and walk across the street for spectacular sunsets. We watched dolphins fishing in the mornings, We did not explore the area as much as we wanted to, so we hope to return. Vino, was always available if we had any issues, and he made sure that everything was great. He was a great host! Thank you again for a wonderful family vacation!

Wonderful house for our family

Carolina Breeze was wonderful for our family, ranging in age from 74 years to 10 weeks. It was stocked better than any beach rental we ever had, especially the kitchen. The beds were also the most comfortable we had experienced in a rental. The beach is a two minute walk, however it is not very deep, as the ocean is stealing the sand from this spot. Several of the houses right on the beach have had to be moved. It is peaceful and uncrowded and provides the raw material for awesome sandcastles. The pool was great and the hot tub got used numerous times! The representative we dealt with was very helpful. If we ever return to Rodanthe, we will definitely consider Carolina Breeze again.

Plan B a blast!

Vino was an awesome host. Our original trip was planned for Miami, Fl but Hurricane Eta decided to throw a wrench in our plans at the last minute. We booked quickly and easily had our Plan B. We found beautiful weather in an amazingly beautiful area! Vino's house was beautifully positioned between the ocean and the sound. Also, well located along the Outer Banks for short day trips. There is so much space in Vino's house! Although we were only two couples, we personally have a large family and could easily have accommodated our family and our friends' family with plenty of room to spread out. Very comfortable, spacious, family friendly and well located. The local restaurants were tasty, friendly and COVID safe. Highly recommend! Definitely want to come back soon!

Carolina Breeze: just perfect for us!

Two sets of grandparents, 1 set of parents, 1 uncle, 2 dogs, and the 22 month old had an absolutely wonderful time at Carolina Breeze. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and the kitchen/dining/living room was comfortable for all. We brought out own highchair, which was good because the booster seat there didn't meet our needs. The kitchen had plenty of place settings and cooking equipment. We had to use some ingenuity keeping the toddler safe on the stairs, but everything worked out just fine. We enjoyed the outside spaces (pool, sunny deck, shaded deck, hot tub) a lot! The ocean was so close, it made for easy, frequent trips to the beach. We enjoyed the views and the lovely breezes: if it was hot on one side outdoors, we went to a different side to catch the breeze. Or we jumped in the pool, which was a refreshing temperature. 2nd time we stayed on this street

Upon arriving at the house, the grass appeared to not have been mowed for quite awhile as it was about knee high but was eventually mowed on Tuesday . The outside area around the pool needed work as several of us ended up with large splinters in our feet. Additionally, the umbrella was broken and unusable that was in the table and the outside electrical outlets did not work as we tried to plug in a baby monitor and it would not work. The carpeting throughout the house was very soiled and needed to be cleaned.There were also stains on the floor in the downstairs half bath and many of the bathrooms did not have trash cans in them. I realize that we were renting this house towards the end of the busy summer season but feel some of these issues should have been addressed before the next tenants arrived for their stay. On a positive note, the kitchen was very generously supplied with cookware and dinnerware. The location of this house is very convenient to beach access and the decks were wonderful especially the deck chairs on the top floor.
