Comfortable and bright apartment in the Monti district, a characteristic neighborhood a few steps from the Colosseum and can accommodate up to 6 people. Carefully furnished with a mix of period and design elements, it is located on the fourth floor with a lift and consists of a large living room with a double sofa bed, a comfortable kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a second bedroom double bed and another bathroom. Bright and quiet, it enjoys an excellent location: within walking distance there are many of the most popular restaurants in the area, numerous shops and trendy bars and the famous Piazza della Madonna dei Monti where many Romans stop to enjoy an aperitif. The metro station can be reached on foot in a few minutes. If you are looking for a quiet and characteristic place this apartment is ideal.

Escapade romaine des 5

Passées les premieres difficultés , eau chaude , wifi ... résolues rapidement avec l'aide de Rafael ... nous avons bcp apprécié notre séjour ds l'appartement , grand , calme , bien situé ... Cependant certains équipements sont peu adaptés pour 5 : cafetiÚre , bouilloire par ex et surtout 1 seul jeu de clés ! Nous y reviendrions cependant volontiers !

appartement tres agreable ,calme spacieux.Toutefois,l'eau chaude n'est pas assez chaude .Un peu de chauffage aurait été bien venu .Les matelas des petits lits ne sont pas confortables car coupés en deux parties ,la barriere de la mezzanine n'est pas suffisante pour les enfants ,et les embouts filtrants des robinets auraient besoin d'étre détartrés ou changés car ils giclent .Cela ne nous a pas empéché de passer un bon séjour .

Dans l'ensemble je crois qu'il est utile de spécifier que l'appartement n'offre en réalité que 1 seule chambre: la 2 Úme chambre en mezzanine n'est accessible que par une échelle non utilisable par personne 3Úme ùge ! ( Parfaite mezzanine pour en enfants ) En dehors de cela Bon accueil , Appartement sympathique et trÚs bien situé géographiquement .

Confort et sĂ©rĂ©nitĂ© au cƓur de la ville Ă©ternelle

Calme bien que dans un quartier trĂšs vivant avec nombreux commerces et restaurants. La proximitĂ© de grand nombre de monuments (ColisĂ©e et forum, Santa Maria di magiore...) permet de nombreuses visites Ă  pied. La proximitĂ© du mĂ©tro (200 mĂštres) est Ă©galement un grand avantage pour se dĂ©placer rapidement Ă  un autre bout de la ville mĂȘme s'il est bien plus agrĂ©able de la traverser Ă  la surface en bus.

Appartement confortable et trÚs bien situé au centre de Rome

L'appartement est gĂ©rĂ© par une agence de location sĂ©rieuse et rĂ©active. Il est propre, spacieux et trĂšs bien situĂ©, Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied du colisĂ©e et des forums impĂ©riaux. Il se situe par ailleurs au cƓur d'un quartier animĂ© et trĂšs sympathique (Monti), ce qui rend le sĂ©jour particuliĂšrement agrĂ©able. Nous Ă©tions en famille (5 personnes dont 3 enfants) et avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© la semaine.

Lovely Apartment in a Fantastic Location

My family and I spent four nights in this wonderful apartment. An agent met us at the apartment and explained everything to us about the apartment in full detail. He was also kind enough to suggest various restaurants for lunch and dinner. The apartment was ample in size, had a partially stocked kitchen with coffee, olive oil, sugar, etc. as well as soap for the kitchen, dishwasher, bathrooms and laundry. I really appreciated having a washing machine and foldable drying rack! The apartment was located close to a number of fantastic restaurants as well a a short walk to many of Rome’s major tourist sites. One negative would be that there was a smell of raw sewage when you first entered the apartment, but you didn’t notice it after awhile! I would not hesitate to chose this apartment when visiting Rome!

An artist’s apartment in a great neighbourhood

A charming apartment, nicely decorated, in a great location in Rome. Emmanuel did a thorough and friendly check in, although we waited 45 minutes at the door for him to arrive. Our one criticism- not enough toilet paper for a 2-night stay.

Living in Rome like a local

The property was as shown in the photos. Interesting decor. It clearly is/was someone's home. The location is great. We really felt like we were living in Rome like locals. The apartment hasn't been modernised for a while, so some of the electrical sockets didn't work and the bathroom was a bit "tired" (the detachable loo seats were a feature we could have done without). And being someone's home the beds are not hotel quality. The second bed is too small for two adults (unless a couple in first throws of love), so we had to use the sofa bed too. The sheets were clean, but the duvet (without a cover) seemed a bit grubby. The doorbell didn't work, and we only had one set of keys which caused logistical problems when you have 4 independent minded adults. It wasn't clear in the ad that it was on the 4th floor. There is a lift, but sometimes that was stuck off the ground floor because the doors are a bit flakey and need to be closed by hand. There was nothing supplied to eat/drink in the kitchen Tea, coffee, and bottled water would have been appreciated because we arrived late after local shops were closed. (Offering a welcome pack of basic foods and extra loo roll for an added price as is done in other self catering places where we stayed would be a great additional service.) The agent who met us was welcoming despite the late hour of our arrival (after 11pm) and when the hot water went off the next day came round promptly to fix it. Overall, happy with the stay, but some little tweaks would have made it even better (esp. having more than 1 set of keys).

Overall good place

Overall a decent place to stay. Pictures were a bit misleading in that rooms are slightly smaller in reality. Kitchen was well stocked. Ample linens, pillows and blankets. Smaller bathroom toilet could use some refreshing as it smelled like a public toilet. The sofa bed needs to be replaced, springs are ver loud every time you moved. Air conditioning was awesome, much needed in the hot Rome summer. Location was close to the Colosseo. Most attracting a within 20 min walk with kids.

Perfect for what we were looking for

Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is as advertised and very comfortable. Spacious and comfortable layout, and very well functioning AC, something important when Rome is a 100+ degree inferno in summers. We also loved the location. It’s a very hip local’ish neighborhood and less than a block away there are a bunch of great bars, cocktails spots, and exceptional restaurants. A 10-15 min walk from many of the sights, although taxies are great in Rome, especially during the heat.

Great apartment right near the Colosseum and great restaurants

The apartment was just as advertised on VRBO. It is a great 2 bedroom and right near tons of restaurants, shops, and gelato options. You could walk to the Colosseum in 10 minutes and be at the Trevi Fountain in 15 minutes. Right near a convenient Metro line at the Colosseum as well. The apartment was very clean and had all of the basic things you need for a short stay in Italy. Communication with the property management company was excellent and we were assisted with pick-up and drop off to Fiumicino Airport which is handy for a family. I gave 5 stars as the apartment was as advertised and the communication was excellent. My only minor points for the landlord/management company to consider would be to buy new mattresses for both beds and to provide a few amenities like coffee, tea, small thing of milk for new arrivals. Overall I highly recommend this property.
