Excellent holiday rental located in Via degli Scipioni a few steps from Saint Peter's Square and the historical centre of Rome. The fully restored apartment is located on the ground floor inside a building of the XIX century. It is made up of a lounge with a single bed and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom (two single beds which can be pushed together to make a double bed), two bathrooms (one with shower). Leider entsprach die Wohnung nicht den geschürten Erwartungen

Im August 2022 bin ich mit meiner Mutter (75), meinen Töchtern (18, 16) und meiner Nichte (16) nach Rom gereist. Nach einigen Komplikationen haben wir kurzfristig noch diese Wohung gefunden, wofür wir sehr dankbar sind. Der Buchungsprozess verlief gut und ohne größere Hindernisse, man konnte sich normal verständigen und musste nicht lange auf Antworten warten. Beim Einchecken gab es dann aber doch einige Missverständnisse, die Schlüsselübergabe wurde vom Vermieter auf 15 Uhr angesetzt, obwohl mehrmals in den Nachrichten darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass unser Flugzeug kurz vor 9 Uhr in Rom landen würde. Schließlich wurde jemand auf 11 Uhr geschickt, der uns in die kleine Innenhof-Wohnung führte und der erste Eindruck war ziemlich ernüchternd. Von der warmen Atmosphäre auf den Bildern war nichts zu spüren, es war eine kalte und kahle Dreizimmerwohnung ohne irgendeine Dekoration. Statt der leuchtenden orangenen, roten oder gelben Bezüge war alles weiß, es lagen keine Teppiche auf dem Boden und Schränke waren zum Teil nicht nutzbar. Darüber haben wir noch hinweg sehen können, allerdings kam unter anderem eine (entgegen der Beschreibung auf fewo-direkt) sehr spärlich ausgestattete Küche hinzu. Zu wenig Kochutensilien und Geschirr, keine Lappen, Wischtücher oder Schwämme zum Abwaschen, auch Spülmittel musste man selbst besorgen. Auch an Grundnahrungsmitteln wie Mehl, Zucker, Kaffee, Öl, Essig, Küchengewürze oder Reis hat es gefehlt. Sollen die Gäste diese Dinge selbst mitbringen? Falls ja, hätten wir uns zumindest über eine kurze Information gefreut. Auch die Sauberkeit des Apartments war nicht unbedingt zufriedenstellend, es war sehr staubig, im Bad haarig und teilweise unhygienisch (Ameisen in der Küche!) Die Wohnung ist für 5 Leute ausgeschrieben, für diese Anzahl an Gästen ist die Wohnung aber einfach nicht geeignet. Eins der fünf Betten war ein rollbares Bettgestell unter dem Sofa neben dem Tisch, man hat also praktisch auf dem Boden neben dem Tisch geschlafen. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung okay. Allerdings entspricht sie kaum den Anpreisungen und Bildern auf der Website und wir hätten defintiv eine andere Wohnung gesucht, hätten uns die Beschreibung und Bilder nicht so in die Irre geführt. Wir hoffen für zukünftige Gäste, dass man sich unsere Kritik zu Herzen zu nimmt und die kleinen Mängel ausbessert. Unser Urlaub war trotzdem wunderschön und Rom ist atemberaubend.
