CasaLilli is a place where you can feel the security and warmth of home. We are an English-speaking family, making it easy to communicate your wants and needs.

It has a modern and very spacious living/dining room with a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two, satellite TV, DVD player, and a stereo CD player. There are two tastefully appointed bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and the other with a shower and a hair dryer. The master bedroom, furnished with antique furniture, has a decidedly romantic feel. The other bedroom, with twin beds and a study, is comfortable and contemporary. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The kitchen is completely equipped with a mini oven, a four burner gas range with oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, blender, toaster, plus all the necessary cooking utensils. It leads to a terrace where you can enjoy your meals al fresco. A washing machine and flat iron complete the list of amenities.

CasaLilli is within walking distance from the sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trajan Market, and Circus Maximus. Just around the corner, and not to be missed, is the Basilica of San Clemente, a structure of three churches built one on top of the other during three different eras, thus condensing 2000 years of Christian history. The Domus Aurea, better known as the Golden House of Nero, is just a couple of blocks away. It was from here that the famous Emperor watched while Rome burned.

The Villa Celimontana, the venue for the annual summer Jazz and Image Festival, is just a 3-minute walk from CasaLilli. This is a beautiful park where you can go jogging, have picnics, or simply enjoy an afternoon stroll.

TrĂšs bel appartement

Nous étions 4 et c'etait suffisament grand pour nous. L'appartement est trÚs bien placé. Proche du Colisé de la station de metro Colosseo et des bus. Vous avez plusieurs restaurants et un Carrefour express pour les courses. Et la propriétaire est une personne vraiment bienveillante. Nous y avons passé un superbe séjour.

Un fabuleux séjour

Marmi nous a chaleureusement accueillis dans son appartement. Ce dernier est trÚs spacieux et décoré avec goût, présentant toutes les commodités et ustensiles pour la vie quotidienne : on se sentait chez nous ! Il est idéalement placé dans un quartier calme, avec de nombreux restaurants et boutiques ouvertes jour et nuit. Les transports en commun (bus, tram et métro) sont à 5 minutes à pied. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

Appartement spacieux et confortable

Appartement propre, spacieux et confortable. TrĂšs bien situĂ©, Ă  environ 5-10 min. d'un arrĂȘt d'autobus et Ă  environ 15 min. de la station de mĂ©tro Colosseo. Nous Ă©tions deux couples de retraitĂ©s et sortions chaque jour, la plupart du temps avec des agendas sĂ©parĂ©s. Nous y avons sĂ©journĂ© 9 nuits, du 4 au 13 novembre 2016. Marmi nous avait remis deux ensembles de clĂ©s. Elle pouvait ĂȘtre rejointe facilement par e-mail ou par cellulaire. Les seize marches Ă  monter pour accĂ©der Ă  l'appartement ne nous ont nullement importunĂ©s. Nous nous en Ă©tions informĂ© Ă  l'avance. L'appartement correspond bien Ă  sa description. La propriĂ©taire nous a fourni de bons conseils sur les transports, les restos et les Ă©piceries. Une de ces derniĂšres, de la chaĂźne Carrefour, se trouve Ă  5 minutes de l'appartement et est assez bien garnie. À notre demande, la proprio nous avait rĂ©servĂ© un chauffeur qui nous a accueilli Ă  la gare Termini Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et un autre qui nous a conduit Ă  l'aĂ©roport le matin de notre dĂ©part, ce qui fut bien apprĂ©ciĂ©. Pour toutes ces raisons, nous recommandons fortement la location de cet appartement. Jean-Paul G.

The Host was extremely helpful before we even arrived, with all of my questions. She met us to give keys and show the lovely apartment. The location was excellent, on quiet back street w Gelato at corner, lots of restaurants, cafes and grocery store within 5 min walk. Walk to Colosseo in 15 min. Taxi stand at end of street. Her suggestion to have cabbie “set the meter” saved us some cash to get to/from Vatican (16). WiFi very good, washer a plus. Type “C” adapter worked well. Patio was the best; it’s where we relaxed after sightseeing days. No elevator to first floor (American 2nd floor) w approx 18 stairs, but two fairly fit 70 yo women managed ok. Host arranged limo ride to/from FCO-worth not having to drag luggage over cobblestone streets. Highly recommend. Thanks, Marmi for everything. C

The listing was 100% accurate: we experienced the local feel of Rome—removed from the tourist hub-bub. Things to note: delicious gelato at the end of the block, and a delightful bakery made for fun evenings and great early mornings. Marmi was responsive and helpful with recommendations. What a lovely place and amazing host! Location very close to the colosseum, making it easy to sites in that area. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Host was so helpful in organizing tours, sharing recommendations for restaurants, and also with transportation. She was communicative from time of booking until departure date. The multiple bathrooms was very convenient for our family. Would absolutely stay again if we had the chance both for the excellent hosting as well as accomodations.

Had a wonderful stay at Casa Lilli. The host was very welcoming and the location is great for using public transportation or grabbing a taxi. The area is very safe and quiet compared to other parts of the city center and it is just a stones throw away from the Colosseum. I would definitely stay at this residence again.

The apartment was lovely and very clean, which i appreciated. Great space for us to visit as a family while on vacation. It is in a great location to restaurants and transportation options. Wonderful location, just a few blocks away from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store within a few-minutes walk of the flat. Our host, Marmi, was wonderful. She quickly responded to all of our questions and needs; she even arranged two great days with a private tour guide on short notice. Our stay excellent. All amenities in kitchen salt, oil, sugar etc. very convenient even the coffee. Location very close to Coliseum, restaurants and 24 hour market. Central location but out of the hustle and bustle of the main area. Finally the host was awesome!! My back went out and suffered severe sciatica leaving me with excruciating pain and in mobilized. In an unknown country I had no one except for the host. She helped trying to locate care for me, made follow up calls and I had to stay 2 extra days. She also was helping us locate lodging. Marmi was a blessing it made us feel we had someone in a country that was unknown to us. Definitely recommend !!

Excellent location and lovely, clean apartment within walking distance to restaurants and the Colosseum, with a gelato place on the corner. The friendly host was there upon arrival to answer our questions and give us suggestions. We were able to use the washing machine and hang clothes to dry on her terrace. Needed a place to stay while in Rome with my son. The hostess was helpful in arranging a car to pick us up from the airport. She met us at the apartment and showed us around our home for the next 4 days. She shared some tips for getting around Rome as well as some restaurant recommendations. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable! WiFi was included, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Two blocks from the Colosseum- can’t beat the location!

Clean and comfortable. Loved the outside patio and breezy open windows with air conditioning for back up. Wonderful to come "home" after long days of sightseeing.

We loved our stay in this apartment. We were walkable to restaurants and some attractions and yet the neighbourhood was quiet and felt quite safe. We also enjoyed having the little balcony as a place to have our coffee in the morning. It worked very well for two couples. Marmi was a very helpful host and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Loved the area

Amazing location

Our family of 4 stayed at this quaint apartment and had a lovely stay. Beds were super comfy, outdoor area was great for breakfast and doing laundry. Great wifi as my husband had to work and our streaming sites worked great. 2 bathrooms with 2 showers was a game changer. Worth every penny

Very well stocked, beautiful apartment, easy to catch bus/metro, and Marmie was very easy to communicate with!
